  Elazar, 2026-05-21 ~13:33: recurring 12h - he keeps getting per-agent DM rooms in chat-duo (3 now: proxy-mba-w-cc, coder-chatduo-cc, researcher-ha-cc). EVIDENCE (bin-whey-cc read ~/.local/state/chat-duo/chat-duo-rooms.json): chat-duo buckets a message by origin_aro; a DM carrying origin_aro lands in that ARO room (bin-whey-cc DM'd Elazar ~20x today with origin_aro, zero per-agent room). A DM with NO origin_aro has no ARO bucket -> chat-duo spawns a per-agent room. VERIFIED all 3 agents ARE in AROs (aro_list) - they DM'd tagless by choice, not fallback; NOT the pruneStale bug. FIX: collapse every origin_aro-less agent->Elazar DM into ONE shared room ('Agents'/'Notifications'). Structural - prevents room proliferation regardless of kind or agent behavior. Prior 12h of behavioral 'tell agents to stop' fixes could not persist across fresh sessions. cc-context-monitor-* DMs are the same tagless-DM class and land there too. nw-venus-cc's hub DM-kind gating is complementary noise control (separate, WI 454 candidate item 8) but does NOT prevent rooms - a legitimate kind=ask DM still spawns one.
