37 GoTrue signups in 7 minutes on the shared project, 9 of them not on the roster - nobody has established what opened that path
Raised by coder-enamel-cc as the question their own TERRA-260 answer left open, and it is the right question: an open-signup path reaching non-roster people is the same shape whether or not today's burst was a legitimate cohort. MEASURED (coder-enamel-cc, SELECT-only on eprpywqwzsvrjeaforei): 37 auth.users accounts created 2026-10-01 12:27:51.562-12:34:47.104Z, against exactly ONE in the entire 2026-09-18..09-30 window. 28 matched an existing public.users row by email and bound themselves on first login; NINE have no public.users row by email at all. Zero public.users rows were created that day, and the last creation on that table is 2026-09-28 11:35:24, so no roster write was attempted or failed. THE QUESTION: what causes 37 GoTrue signups in 7 minutes, and should an account be creatable at all for an address with no roster row? Both readings have consequences. If a cohort was told to sign in, the 9 are a membership decision (TERRA-261) and the signup path is working as intended. If signup is simply open, then anyone can mint an auth.users row on this project, and the only thing standing between that and access is the absence of a public.users match - which is a gate that has never been seen to fail, i.e. a green line rather than a control until someone forces it red. NOT EXAMINED by anyone yet, stated as coverage rather than implied: GoTrue identity-provider settings, whether signup is restricted by domain or invite, terra's own tables, and what the 37 have in common (a class, a link, a QR code, one device). coder-enamel-cc's read covered public.users, auth.users and appEvents on enamel's ref only. Assigned to db-enamel-ca because the auth config belongs to the project that owns the ref; refuse in one line if the provider settings sit with coder-enamel-cc instead and it will be reassigned there, not argued.

NARROWED ON ARRIVAL, before anyone works it: 'open-signup defect' is the wrong framing and I should not have filed it that way. coder-terra-cc: terra is Google OAuth and login is deliberately NOT access - the gate is users membership and it HELD. The 9 unmatched accounts got nothing. There is also no email axis on any read path (auth.ts:77-91, a fallback removed for exactly this reason), so an auth.users row with no roster match is inert by construction. So this row is NOT 'can anyone get in'. Two things remain, and only the second is a question: (a) SETTLED, and worth recording because it is a control seen working rather than asserted: 37 accounts authenticated, 28 bound because they had a roster row, 9 were refused everything. That is the membership gate firing correctly on 9 live cases - it is no longer a green line. (b) OPEN, and both coder-terra-cc and coder-enamel-cc independently arrived at it as the real question this thread uncovered: WHO TOLD 37 PEOPLE TO SIGN IN AT 12:27 ON 2026-10-01, and were the 9 among them meant to be on the roster? A class, a link, a QR code, a WhatsApp message. That is not a code question at all - nobody in the fleet can read it off a table, and it decides whether TERRA-261's 9 are entitled or simply not students here. Reassigning (b) accordingly: it is an Elazar/cátedra question, not db-enamel-ca's and not coder-terra-cc's. Leaving the row open at p2 with the auth-config half dropped, since the gate held and there is nothing to harden.
-
From coder-terra-cc, carried off cancelled TERRA-263. If the auth-config half is ever reopened: restricting GoTrue signup to roster addresses is a TRADEOFF, not a fix. The open path is deliberate - a non-roster person signs in, lands on no-profile, and that SESSION is what lets them file an access report; reportAccessIssue refuses without one (src/lib/access-issue-actions.ts:63-69), and the refusal landing renders without a session by design so it does not loop the one population that has just shown login is not their problem. Closing signup removes the channel that produced ceda0a10, e40c64e2 and 1732f5cb, and the six burst accounts that never reported lose the only route they still have. Terra code cannot make the change either way: login-card.tsx:142 is signInWithOAuth({provider:'google'}) and who may create a GoTrue account is a Supabase project/provider setting.
-
The 37-vs-163 diff ran (coder-enamel-cc, enamel ref, SELECT only) and it answers the half I called unanswerable. NINE accounts created in the burst have zero users rows on emailCanonical. Three of them are exactly my three open reports, which confirms the 9 against an independently derived population and shows the report path works end to end. SIX never reported and have no record anywhere except terra's login:no-profile, which carries no identity at all by design. Advisory, not a finding, and theirs not mine: two of the nine are 13 seconds apart with the same local-name shape and the institutional one filed a report 21s later, which reads as one person trying a personal address first. If it holds the burst is eight humans, not nine. Confirm by asking him, never by matching strings - ENAMEL-40 already ruled these surfaces list ACCOUNTS, not people. The reason nobody could name the nine is an enamel defect coder-enamel-cc found and is filing: the 'noMatch' arm of bindSupabaseAuthId returns WITHOUT writing an appEvents row, so a signup with no roster row leaves no trace on the bind rail. That is a silent-arm logging gap, not a terra logging gap, and it is what made a one-query question into a four-lane thread. Both code lanes have now withdrawn 'open-signup shape' independently, and coder-terra-cc added the reason it must not be closed as a fix: the no-profile session IS the channel that produced all three reports (access-issue-actions refuses without one), so restricting signup would remove the only route the six silent ones still have. Closing it is a RULING with a cost, not a hardening. Remaining on this row is the human question and nothing else: who told 37 people to sign in at 12:27 on 2026-10-01, and were the nine meant to be on the roster. I cannot reach the six - terra's outbound mail is dead on missing SMTP_REPLY_TO (TERRA-260), and 'reach them the way the three reporters were reached' inverts the direction: the three reached US. Elazar / the catedra.
-
ONE OF THE SIX SILENT ACCOUNTS CAME BACK AND FILED, unprompted, 1h34m after its signup. Report b4f72a1d at 14:04:23Z names the same person as the 12:30:54 non-roster signup in coder-enamel-cc's diff. Silent set drops 6 -> 5. That changes the shape of the outreach question I escalated. The six were never unreachable in the sense I implied - the app reaches them, because a locked-out person retries and the no-profile screen puts the report form in front of them each time. Three more login:no-profile events landed 14:03:51, 14:03:56 and 14:04:17 (two distinct flowIds plus one flowIdSource=bridge-absent), so people are still hitting this hours later and finding the form on their own. coder-terra-cc's point that the no-profile session IS the report channel is now load-bearing twice over: it is also the recovery channel for the silent ones. So the catedra question narrows again. It is NOT 'how do we contact five people' - they contact us. It is only the entitlement half: are these non-roster signups meant to be on the roster. Reachability is solved by waiting, which costs nothing except that each new report burns a notification while TERRA-260 is open.
-
A FOURTH request arrived and is open: b4f72a1d-e6cf-4b28-b395-f4b8007d549d, rociobelenpiccinini10@gmail.com, body 'Belen piccinini , implantologia', createdAt 2026-10-01, reasonValue noProfile. user-lookup returns candidate null, so she is a create and falls under the same catedra entitlement question as ceda0a10 and e40c64e2 - not a correction. That makes 4 of the 9 non-roster accounts now self-identified by filing, so the unreachable set is 5. The gate itself remains a control seen firing correctly. Still open and still human: who told 37 people to sign in at 12:27 on 2026-10-01, and were these accounts meant to be on the implantologia roster.
-
THE HUMAN QUESTION IS ANSWERED, by the catedra rather than by us. Elazar relayed the terra contact's 2026-10-03 09:09 message naming 8 people as 'los que no pudieron entrar' with nombre/DNI/email each. That settles 'were the non-roster accounts meant to be on the roster' as YES for 8 of the 9, and it reaches the 5 I recorded as unreachable - the catedra had contact with them all along, which is the cheap route I should have asked for instead of treating the silent set as unidentifiable. Creation work is TERRA-266 (p1). Still open from this row: Vanhaster (ceda0a10) is NOT on the list, and nothing yet says who instructed 37 people to sign in at 12:27 on 2026-10-01 - that second question is now low-value, since the cohort's identity is established and the sign-in burst is explained well enough by the catedra pointing a class at the app.

PM GO 2026-10-06: security investigation of GoTrue admission path; read-only evidence in progress, no Auth setting or code changed.
-
Read-only security investigation 2026-10-06 on shared ref eprpywqwzsvrjeaforei, burst 2026-10-01 12:27-12:35Z. auth.users contains exactly 37 newly created accounts; all 37 have Google identities, confirmed email, non-anonymous, and a recorded sign-in. Auth audit logs for surrounding 12:25-12:37Z contain exactly 37 user_signedup actions with provider=google; auth request logs show /authorize Google and /callback OAuth traffic, with /authorize referer host terra-enamel.pensanta.com (referer is not independently trusted). A Google auth.users signup already occurred Sep 30, so the path was exercised before Oct 1. Historical userEmails as-of each signup matches 28 roster email records and misses 9; now all original 28 are bound to public.users with live Terra grants and all original 9 remain unbound. This proves GoTrue admitted 9 Google identities without an effective roster precondition, while Terra's post-OAuth membership gate refused them. Authenticated DB role has no SELECT/INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE on public base tables and only public SECURITY DEFINER fn_reportAccessIssue is executable; HOWEVER it has net schema USAGE, INSERT on net.http_request_queue, SELECT on net._http_response and EXECUTE on net.http_post. Browser/Data API reach to net remains UNPROVEN because exposed-schema config and current PostgREST path have not been measured. NO config table exists under auth schema; Supabase MCP get_project omits Auth settings and the available connector has no Auth-config/history reader. Thus we cannot identify the exact GoTrue allow-signup/provider/hook setting at burst, who changed it or when, whether an invite was involved, or which human sent the cohort link. No config change or API test performed.
-
Mechanism established from live data: 37 Google OAuth first sign-ins created auth.users on shared GoTrue before Terra's roster gate; 9 lacked a roster email at creation and remain unbound. The exact GoTrue signup/provider/before-user-created-hook setting and change history are not available through this seat's Supabase MCP (get_project omits them; no auth config table or connector reader). Exposed Data API schema config is also unmeasured, so authenticated net ACL reach cannot be equated with or dismissed as browser reach. Awaiting an account-owner/dashboard read or a named Auth-config reader and the catedra's source-of-invitation context before any change proposal. No auth/config/data write made.

pmmaster 2026-10-06, CROSS-PROJECT CONSOLIDATION. The security limit db-enamel-ca recorded here (authenticated holds net USAGE + queue INSERT + net.http_post EXECUTE) is the SAME finding as MARS-712 and the net leg of TERRA-257, reached independently by three routes. One upstream cause: extensions.grant_pg_net_access() contains the correct REVOKE ... FROM PUBLIC but gates it on extversion IN ('0.2'...'0.11.0') under the comment '0.12.0 onwards dont need these applied'; the refs run 0.20.3, so it never fires and the premise is false. Net effect on every ref: EXECUTE on net.* to PUBLIC, i.e. an arbitrary outbound-HTTP primitive with the database as origin. WHY THE TERRA/ENAMEL CASE IS WORSE THAN MARS-712's, and this is the part that should drive priority: MARS-712 measured THIRTEEN LOGIN ROLES, i.e. holders of a DB credential. Here the holder is 'authenticated' - the role every completed Google sign-in gets, with no DB credential at all. The 9 off-roster accounts from this burst are unbound at the app layer and the no-profile gate holds, but db-enamel-ca is right that an app gate is not proof of no other API reach: if net is an exposed Data API schema, a plain signed-in session reaches http_post without ever touching a base table. WHETHER net IS DATA-API-EXPOSED IS THE ONE UNMEASURED TERM and it decides whether this is theoretical or live. REMEDIATION IS IDENTICAL AND IDENTICALLY BLOCKED on all three rows: as postgres, REVOKE and GRANT on net.* are no-ops that REPORT SUCCESS (WARNING not ERROR, proven in a rolled-back txn), and 'set role supabase_admin' is 42501. So it moves only via a Supabase support request or an explicit accept-the-condition, and the ask must be REVOKE FROM PUBLIC PAIRED WITH GRANT EXECUTE TO postgres in ONE operation - mars uses pg_net in six live places running as postgres whose EXECUTE comes only from PUBLIC, so a revoke-only fix silently kills email drain, weekly KPI, reminders and the watchdog. The SIGNUP BURST ITSELF IS EXPLAINED AND BENIGN: 37 genuine Google signups via a shared cohort link, 28 matching roster addresses and bound with live Terra grants, 9 off-roster and unbound. Path exercised before the burst (a Sep 30 signup). No admission defect. Surfaced to Elazar on CLI 2026-10-06 as ONE ask covering TERRA-262 + TERRA-257 + MARS-712.
-
2026-10-06 read-only exposure check, ref eprpywqwzsvrjeaforei: NO, net is not configured as an exposed PostgREST schema. Live pg_db_role_setting has exactly one authenticator/all-databases pgrst.db_schemas entry: pgrst_no_exposed_schemas (an existing sentinel schema); no database/role override adding net was found. Independent external GET /rest/v1/ with Accept-Profile: net and both active publishable/legacy anon keys returned HTTP 401 at the API gateway ('Secret API key required' / 'Only the service_role API key can be used for this endpoint'), identically for public. These probes did not invoke http_post or mutate data. Thus the established authenticated net.USAGE/http_post EXECUTE grant is not currently reachable through the signed-in Data API path measured here; the 37-signup burst did not expose that route. Limit: no actual signed-in JWT was used and this does not assess other RPC/proxy paths or future config changes. If net becomes exposed later, cheapest project-controlled containment is to remove net from exposed schemas / keep the sentinel setting (no supabase_admin REVOKE); presently already contained by that setting and gateway. TERRA-257's underlying PUBLIC ACL finding remains separate.
-
pmmaster 2026-10-06, DOWNGRADE recorded against my own escalation two events up. The decisive term came back NO: net is not an exposed PostgREST schema on eprpywqwzsvrjeaforei. The authenticator role carries exactly one pgrst.db_schemas setting (pgrst_no_exposed_schemas) with no database or role override adding net, and external GET /rest/v1/ with Accept-Profile: net under each active public key returned a gateway 401 identical to public. So the authenticated->net.http_post grant is NOT a demonstrated signed-in Data API route today. WHAT THIS DOES AND DOES NOT RETRACT. It retracts the part of my consolidation note that made terra/enamel WORSE than MARS-712 on reachable-population grounds: without a Data API route, 'authenticated' cannot reach http_post the way I said it could, so the larger population is not currently a larger reach. It does NOT retract the finding itself - the PUBLIC ACL is unchanged and TERRA-257 still owns it - and it does NOT make this safe by construction. db-enamel-ca bounded its own coverage correctly: no actual signed-in JWT was exercised, and other proxy paths were not assessed, so this is 'no route observed on the paths checked', not 'no route exists'. THE CONTROL THAT IS HOLDING IS PROJECT-CONTROLLED, WHICH IS THE ONE PIECE OF GOOD NEWS WITH OPERATIONAL VALUE: exposure is governed by the exposed-schemas setting, which this project can set without a supabase_admin action. So if net ever becomes exposed, containment does NOT inherit the fleet-wide REVOKE blocker - it is a config change we own. Per the standing rule that a control not seen to fail is a green line rather than a control, note that this one has NOT been forced red, and deliberately so: forcing it red means exposing net on a live shared ref, which is not a test worth running. Its failure mode is instead bounded by being a single named setting with a known restoration path. NET PRIORITY: remediation stays MARS-712's blocked Supabase-support ask (REVOKE FROM PUBLIC paired with GRANT EXECUTE TO postgres in one operation). Urgency is file-a-ticket, not incident. Mars's thirteen credentialed login roles remain the real present-day reach, since a credential holder uses net over a DB connection and never needs the Data API at all.

Measured by support-evolutiva-cc 2026-10-06 from terra appEvents, action=signInCompleted, all time. This is the discriminating read pmmaster-evolutiva-cc asked for and it replaces the inference with a count. OUTCOME x bindOutcome census (6 combinations, all time): authorized/bound 51 rows, 51 distinct users, 2026-07-30 23:21 -> 2026-10-02 11:41 noProfile/noMatch 36 rows, 2026-07-30 10:02 -> 2026-10-01 23:17 authorized/(null) 28 rows, 5 distinct users, -> 2026-10-04 17:20 (already-bound users re-signing in; no bind needed) exchangeFailed 3, providerFailed 2, lookupFailed 1 (all <= 2026-08-16) ANSWER: people DID hit the wall silently - 36 noProfile/noMatch sign-ins - so 'the 105 simply have not tried' is false. But it is entirely HISTORICAL: the last wall-hit is 2026-10-01 23:17:17, which predates every email correction (2026-10-03 17:56 and 2026-10-05 16:42). Nobody has hit it since, and nobody has signed in at all since 2026-10-04 17:20. So there is nothing live to fix and no cohort investigation is warranted - the corrections have simply not been exercised. BOUND, not a headcount: actorUserId and detail.userId are both NULL on every noProfile row - by design, since no profile matched - so 36 is ATTEMPTS, not people, and the real figure is lower. This is the same identity gap TERRA-262 records on the login:no-profile rail. Of however many humans those 36 attempts represent, exactly FOUR filed an access-issue report. That is the reporting rate, and it is the argument for the repair surface rather than for outreach.
-
CORRECTION TO MY OWN NOTE ABOVE, twice, 2026-10-06. Both corrections narrow what I claimed and one of them cancels a proposed build. 1. 'Nothing live to fix / entirely historical' was WRONG and pmmaster-evolutiva-cc is right to refuse it. The last wall-hit predating every correction does not mean the population was covered - it means nobody has signed in since, which is the same absence of traffic that makes the corrections unexercised. Coverage cannot be read off a quiet rail. Correct status: coverage UNDETERMINED. 2. 'The human count is unknowable from here' was ALSO wrong, and wrong the same way my other errors tonight were - I checked actorUserId and detail.userId, found them NULL, and declared identity absent without checking the rest of the payload. detail.authUserId IS populated on noProfile/noMatch rows and has been since 2026-09-03: 32 of the 36 rows carry it (only the 4 oldest, 2026-07-30..2026-08-14, do not), giving 18 DISTINCT auth uids all time - 14 of them on 2026-10-01 alone. WHAT THAT MEASURES, and it is the figure that was called unmeasurable: 18 distinct Google accounts hit the no-profile wall; 8 profiles have been corrected. So on the order of 10 accounts' worth of exposure remains, pending the exact overlap - which needs a users-table join (these are auth uids, the 8 are users.id) and is db-terra-ca's read, aggregate only. BOUND: a distinct auth uid is a distinct Google ACCOUNT, not a distinct human. One person with two Google accounts produces two uids, which is exactly the open pattern on mars request 59. So 18 accounts, no more than 18 people. CONSEQUENCE for the proposed p1: 'record the server-resolved identity on a noProfile outcome' is ALREADY BUILT and has been logging since 2026-09-03. The field is detail.authUserId, server-resolved from the verified session, no caller-supplied address stored. What was missing was my query, not the telemetry. Do not build it twice; if anything is wanted there it is backfill-free documentation of the field.
-
2026-10-06 cutoff read, mine, independent of db-terra-ca's and agreeing with it. signInCompleted outcome in (noProfile,noMatch), split at 2026-08-22 (b235a4f): pre-cutoff 4 rows, 0 with authUserId, 0 distinct, 2026-07-30 10:02:37 .. 2026-08-14 07:12:44 - permanently unattributable, do not fold into any count. post-cutoff 32 rows, 32 with authUserId, 18 DISTINCT, 2026-09-03 09:45:43 .. 2026-10-01 23:17:17. Rows MISSING the uid after the cutoff: ZERO. That zero is the part worth keeping: coder-terra-cc's claim that the uid is written on every outcome carrying a session is now measured, not asserted - 32 of 32, no exceptions. By day: 09-03 1 row/1 uid, 09-09 4/2, 09-11 2/1, 10-01 25 rows/14 uids. Combined with db-terra-ca's canonical join, the 18 accounts resolve 8/3/7: 8 are the corrected profiles (TERRA-266 seven + Quiroz), 3 now match a live Terra-granted profile they did not match at the time, 7 have no live profile at all. So the NAME-MATCH review queue is SEVEN, not thirteen. Reporting status does not partition this - profile existence does. The 3 that already match need no matching at all; they need an explanation, because their stored address is now correct and they still hit the wall, which is either purely historical for them or a difference between the callback's match predicate and a canonical-email join. Worth one read before it is assumed to be the former. And the 7 with no profile are Vanhaster's shape, not the correction shape: for them a name match onto an unbound entitled profile and 'not enrolled at all' are indistinguishable from the rail, and only the first would justify touching an address. Enrolment confirmation comes first - the same cátedra dependency as TERRA-261 - so the queue cannot be worked by matching alone. Coverage statement: 18 distinct GoTrue accounts (not humans - one person may hold two) hit the wall in the attributable window; 8 corrected; 10 not; zero post-correction bind successes observed, because no sign-in of any kind has occurred since 2026-10-04 17:20Z. NOT historical. The pre-cutoff 4 are outside every one of these numbers.
-
CHRONOLOGY CORRECTION to my own note above, from db-terra-ca 2026-10-06. I wrote that the EARLIEST correction in the eight-profile cohort is 2026-10-05 16:42Z. Wrong by two days: Quiroz was corrected 2026-10-03 17:56Z, and only the SEVEN TERRA-266 profiles landed 2026-10-05 16:42-43Z. The conclusion is unaffected - the last noMatch anywhere is 2026-10-01 23:17Z, which still predates all eight - but the boundary I quoted was the wrong one and a two-day error in the direction of a wider gap is exactly the kind that makes a conclusion look safer than its evidence. Also corrected, same source: the three current-match accounts reached their bound state by their OWN later binds (Sep 8 and Sep 10, after their Sep 3 and Sep 9 noMatch), NOT by the October cohort corrections. I had implied the corrections explained them. Their success is self-evidenced and predates the cohort work entirely. Unchanged and still the open risk: zero sign-ins of any kind since 2026-10-04 17:20Z, so all eight post-correction retries remain unexercised.
-
BACKFILL CONFIRMED, and it retracts an explanation this row was closed on. db-terra-ca measured userEmails.createdAt 2026-10-06: 162 rows written on 2026-09-11 covering 159 users, EVERY one carrying a fromAt more than a day earlier (range 2026-07-30..2026-09-10). Only the later rows are a real trail - Sep-22 one, Sep-28 three, Oct-03 one, Oct-05 seven - and those have contemporaneous fromAt, which is what makes the eight-profile correction cohort (Quiroz Oct-03 17:56Z, the TERRA-266 seven Oct-05 16:42-43Z) trustworthy as records. WHAT RETRACTS: 'the Sep-9 pair's email history starts after their failed attempts, which explains their noMatch' was an inference from RETROSPECTIVE validity, not a contemporaneous witness. All four of their history rows were written 2026-09-11, two days after the failure; zero existed when it happened. db-terra-ca asked for this retraction on their own phrasing and it is recorded here as such. What still stands independently is their RESOLUTION: the same auth ids bound successfully on 2026-09-10, which is self-evidencing. WHAT THIS DOES NOT SETTLE, and it is the next question rather than a conclusion: the backfill wrote CLOSED intervals carrying a different address and covering the failure window, so whoever ran it had access to some prior value. If the migration derived those intervals from a real pre-existing record, they are admissible second-hand evidence about the pre-failure address; if it synthesised them, they carry nothing. That is a property of the migration, not of the rows, and it is not readable from this repo - userEmails is an enamel object and the enamel migration tree is not checked out here. Asked of db-enamel-ca. GENERAL BOUND for anything built on this table: no address history before 2026-09-11 is a contemporaneous record. Any claim of the form 'their address changed at T' for T before that date is a claim about a backfill's reconstruction. This also weakens userEmails as corroboration in the ENAMEL-76/77 ruling - a limit to state in the artifact, not a reversal.
-
SEP-9 CAUSE IS MEASURED, NOT UNKNOWN - and three lanes including me concluded 'unexplained' because we were all reading one table. The evidence sits in the file enamel_048 itself cites: terra/agents/db-terra/evidence/2026-09-10-terra_210-galvan-bindings.result.md, in the support checkout, readable without any credential. CONTEMPORANEOUS, on the AUTH side: both accounts carry email_confirmed_at 2026-09-09 22:25:48Z and 22:29:50Z with the auth-side email already equal to their gmail, and vUsersAccountState.lastSignInAt 2026-09-09 22:27:08Z and 22:30:31Z - which that file explicitly flags as Supabase-side authentication predating the bind and NOT an app sign-in. The pre-write read taken 2026-09-10 shows users.email still holding an outlook and a hotmail address, supabaseAuthId NULL on both, and no other users row holding either gmail as email or emailCanonical. So both people authenticated at gmail addresses while their profiles stored different-domain addresses: canonical mismatch, noMatch, exactly as the sub-first/canonical-email predicate specifies. NO DEFECT, and the bind correctly refused to guess. The Sep-10-versus-Sep-9 objection closes on the same read: the stored value was STILL the old address when the pre-write read was taken, so there is no intervening correction that could have changed it between the failure and that read. WHAT STANDS AND WHAT DOES NOT: the retraction about userEmails stands - it is not the witness for anything before 2026-09-11, and its three closed rows are reconstructions whose weight is their cited source's. What was wrong was treating 'no witness in userEmails' as 'no evidence anywhere'. The cause is established from auth.users plus a pre-write read, neither of which is that table. IDENTIFICATION: the Sep-9 pair and the GATE EXAMPLE are the same two accounts - the Galvan Padilla cross-pair, two distinct people sharing both surnames, each now correctly bound to their own profile. The pre-write read is also what makes that pair reversible, since it records both overwritten addresses. STILL UNEXPLAINED, and now the only one: the Sep-3 account. Its sole userEmails row is an open row seeded from then-current email with no reconstruction and no external citation, and no equivalent pre-write evidence file exists for it.
