Port pluto's design system to terra /practicas/nueva: grouped option cards, wider layout, required-field highlighting (toast+friction split out to TERRA-134)

Done high ctcoder-terra-cc

Elazar directive 2026-08-29 (CLI, direct): terra /practicas/nueva must adopt pluto's UI/UX philosophy. His words: "you keep using these horrible buttons one below the other, no clue what is wrong with the model, that is not proper UI design." He has asked for this ACROSS MULTIPLE SESSIONS and it has not happened. REFERENCE IS PLUTO. evolutiva.pensanta.com = pluto. Verified by per-repo domain grep: pluto=evolutiva, mars=mars-evolutiva, venus=cmfpost-evolutiva, terra=terra-enamel. Earlier sessions comparing against mars or venus were reading the wrong app, and the client doc's "Maxilo" reference compounds the confusion. ROOT CAUSE IS NOT MODEL TASTE, IT IS A MISSING COMPONENT LIBRARY. This is the finding that matters, because it explains why telling the model "design it better" has never worked and never would: - terra/src/components/ui/ holds SIX files: button, input, label, sheet, sonner, textarea. - pluto/src/components/ui/ holds THIRTY-TWO, including card, checkbox, radio-group, select, form, section-title, separator, badge, tabs, tooltip, alert. - pluto's form is Card > CardContent > SectionTitle wrapping RadioGroup/RadioGroupItem/Checkbox (practica-form.tsx:627, 783-787, 851-866, 937-941, 980, 1002). That IS the bordered-and-titled option group Elazar keeps describing. - terra's form is bare fieldset className="form-section" plus native select plus stacked Button (practica-form.tsx:362, 368, 540, 554, 579, 605, 634, 690, 707-846, 870, 945, 977-997). There is no card.tsx, checkbox.tsx, radio-group.tsx, select.tsx, form.tsx or section-title.tsx in terra. The requested grouping is UNBUILDABLE there, so every session reaches for the one primitive that exists, Button, and stacks it. The instruction was fine; the parts were missing. NO NEW DEPENDENCIES. I assumed Radix packages would have to be added; coder-terra-ca corrected me and I verified it: terra already carries radix-ui ^1.6.7 (pluto runs ^1.6.2, so terra is NEWER), lucide-react ^1.24.0 and sonner ^2.0.7, identical. Card/SectionTitle need no package at all. Do NOT add react-hook-form, calendar or cmdk for this port. SCOPE, in dependency order: 1. Copy primitives: card, section-title, radio-group, checkbox, select, then separator only if used. 2. Convert each of terra's six bare fieldsets to Card > CardContent > SectionTitle with anchored section ids, then add section nav. 3. Layout: terra/src/app/practicas/nueva/page.tsx:60 is "mx-auto max-w-3xl space-y-6 p-4"; pluto's is "w-full max-w-6xl" (pluto .../nueva/page.tsx:89). Plus responsive grids inside cards. This one line is the whole "crammed in the middle of the page" complaint. 4. Required-field highlighting, and it is SEPARATE WORK from the primitives - coder flagged this and it must not be glossed: pluto sets noValidate because Radix RadioGroup's required prop emits an unstyled browser bubble (practica-form.tsx:612-622), then on submit marks the group invalid, scrolls and focuses it, renders Spanish error text and applies friction-flash-3x plus a destructive ring (:839-866, 1060-1088). Terra reuses its existing FlashField as the visual contract and adds group-level equivalents for radio/checkbox groups. Server-side validation stays. COPYING THE PRIMITIVES SUPPLIES NO VALIDATION. 5. Toast + friction pairing: port pluto's lib/toast.ts wrapper, not bare Sonner - every coded error/warning fires reportFriction({code, mechanism:'toast'}) then renders (pluto/src/lib/toast.ts:1-68). Mount the reporter bootstrap and NativeValidationCapture in terra's root layout. Adapt friction-toast-coverage.test.ts, which rejects uncoded warning/info outside an allowlist and rejects literal codes absent from the registry (:83-122). Terra already has friction-actions/friction-client/friction-codes but NO toast.ts. ELAZAR'S EXPLICIT INSTRUCTION ON HOW TO PORT: "bring things over and make them better, dont just import blindly." Terra's data semantics are preserved throughout and pluto's are NOT to be inherited: terra's vocabularies are scope-resolved (resolveScopedVocabulary / vocabularyScopeMembers) and pluto's are not; terra's piezas selector reads an include-mode scope of 32, not a raw table; terra's antecedentes is a nested tree with an immutable per-practica snapshot, not pluto's flat checkboxes; post-op stays a separate post-save flow, not pluto's in-form bundle. Do not import pluto's historia-clinica/DOB/nationality model, ToothSelector, operator+assistant mode or teacher-on-behalf mode. DO NOT PORT: pluto ui/form.tsx, calendar/date fields, command. Ayuda button is NOT in this row - see TERRA-36. Spec authored by coder-terra-ca (tag coder-terra-ca-mtedlg5r9ept), dependency and layout claims independently verified by coder02-terra-cc against package.json and both page.tsx files.

SEQUENCING RULING, and the one part of this row that must not be re-split by a later session. Original plan put required-field highlighting LAST, after the tables and the PWA. It is now inside step 2, shipping with the form redesign. Two reasons, and the second is the load-bearing one: 1. OPTICS: it was one of the four things Elazar named in the original ask ("eye catching highlights to avoid user not filling out required fiels"), alongside grouped bordered options, the wider layout and the Ayuda button. After the layout step the form has cards, section titles, radio groups and a 6xl container - it LOOKS finished, and he reviews visually in a browser. A form that looks done and still accepts an empty required group is the thing he has been complaining about wearing the new design, and once it reads as delivered the rest competes for attention against whatever is next rather than against an obvious defect. 2. CORRECTNESS - THE PORT REMOVES VALIDATION AS A SIDE EFFECT: the port sets noValidate on the form to suppress the unstyled browser bubble that Radix RadioGroup's required prop produces (pluto practica-form.tsx:612-622). THE MOMENT noValidate LANDS, NATIVE REQUIRED ENFORCEMENT IS GONE. Shipping step 2 without the explicit validation arm does not postpone the highlighting - it DELETES client-side required enforcement the form has today and leaves the hole open across the tables work and the PWA work. That is a regression introduced deliberately, by a change whose stated purpose is styling, and nothing in the port would report it. THEREFORE: noValidate and the explicit submit-validation arm (invalid state, scroll+focus the offending group, Spanish inline error text, FlashField/destructive group ring) are ONE change or NEITHER. Do not land noValidate on its own for any reason, including "the validation arm is nearly ready". Server-side validation is unaffected and stays - it is the real gate and it does not move. Toast/friction pairing correctly stays in the later independent step: nothing regresses by waiting and it carries its own coverage test. Confirmed by coder-terra-ca (tag coder-terra-ca-mtedu8yjajfh). GENERALISABLE, worth carrying beyond this row: a styling port can silently remove a behaviour when the old behaviour was supplied by a browser default that the new markup disables. The removal has no diff of its own - nobody deletes a line - so it cannot be caught by reading the change as a styling change.

Assignee reconciliation, 2026-08-29 13:15 ART, by coder02-terra-cc. db-terra-cc is NOT on the hub roster and has no live process. Every WI still naming it was unassigned in practice while reading as owned - the exact state that stops anyone picking the item up. Measured against the live process table: the terra db lane is db-terra-ca (codex, pid 3350411) and db02-terra-cc (claude, pid 145703). Six items moved to db-terra-ca (TERRA-66, 70, 80, 103, 68, 79) and two to db02-terra-cc (TERRA-98, 88) to give the second db lane independent work rather than a queue behind the first. VERIFICATION GAP, recorded rather than papered over: analyze-agent-context.sh cannot see the -ca agents at all. It returns UNKNOWN AGENT for coder-terra-ca, db-terra-ca and audit-terra-ca because its sample roster only covers Claude Code sessions, and those three are codex processes with no transcript under the Claude projects tree. So the instrument I was told to verify with covers exactly one of the four agents in this lane (db02-terra-cc). For the codex three I fell back to tmux capture-pane, which does give a real state line. Measured this iteration: coder-terra-ca Ready, context 22 percent left; db-terra-ca Ready, 70 percent left; audit-terra-ca Ready, 88 percent left; db02-terra-cc idle, VERDICT no wedge signature. The coder number is the one that matters for scheduling: TERRA-124 plus 125 plus 126 is a large port and its owner is at 22 percent context.

SHIPPED AND VERIFIED IN THE CODE, not taken on report. coder-terra-ca's commit 1e77765 (origin/main, v0.30.12) is read and checked line by line. THE ENFORCEMENT IS SERVER-SIDE AND ORDERED CORRECTLY. src/lib/practica-actions.ts createPractica re-reads the catalogue - SELECT id, label FROM vTerraModuloCampos WHERE moduloId = $1 AND isRequired - and throws before `pool.connect()` and before BEGIN. So the refusal happens before any patient or practica write begins, not inside a transaction that then has to unwind. It does NOT trust the form's own idea of what was required, which is the entire defect: the browser attribute was the only enforcement and the action dropped blanks. THE VIEW IS THE RIGHT SOURCE, checked rather than assumed: vTerraModuloCampos (terra_31:397-400) carries `WHERE "isActive"`, so a retired campo cannot resurrect as a requirement. The query needs no deleted-row filter of its own. I TRACED EVERY WRITE PATH RATHER THAN THE ONE THE COMMIT NAMED, because a fix reaches the file it edits and not its siblings. `terraPracticasCampos` is written in exactly one place in src/ - practica-actions.ts:464 - and there is no update or delete path for campos anywhere in the app. So the single guarded entry point IS the population, and this is not a case of one of several writers being covered. noValidate IS PRESENT (practica-form.tsx:368) AND THE VALIDATION WENT IN WITH IT. That pairing is the trap already in our corpus: a styling port that adds noValidate deletes the browser's native required enforcement, and if it ships without an explicit replacement the change that was supposed to add enforcement removes it instead. Explicit submit validation, focus/scroll to the missing campo, and the Spanish `Completá <label>.` message are in the same commit. TESTS ARE SYNTHETIC AND THAT IS STATED, NOT PAPERED OVER. practica-campos-required-core.test.ts plus a source-order pin that the catalogue read precedes the practica INSERT. Production defines ZERO required campos across the 3 modulos holding the 5 live practicas, so nothing in the field exercises this - the synthetic arms are the only thing that ever will until a modulo defines one. 381 tests pass, typecheck clean. TERRA-124 closes with this too; the form port and the enforcement were deliberately shipped as one change rather than the port landing first and the guard following.

REOPENED. Elazar reports /practicas/nueva looks unchanged. It is unchanged. This WI was closed by me on item 1 of a five-item scope and the close was wrong. WHAT SHIPPED: b79e07f, six files, 75 insertions, all under src/components/ui/ (card, checkbox, radio-group, section-title, separator, table). That is scope item 1 and nothing else. WHAT I MEASURED JUST NOW: grep -rln over src/ for importers of any of the six returns ZERO. They are dead code. src/app/practicas/nueva/page.tsx imports only PracticaForm; its line 60 still reads mx-auto max-w-3xl space-y-6 p-4, which the description already names as the entire crammed-in-the-middle complaint. practica-form.tsx still uses bare fieldset className="form-section". Its last commit, 1e77765, was TERRA-127 required-campos server enforcement - behaviour, not styling - and the shared commit subject is what made an unstyled form read as a styled one. STILL OPEN, unchanged from the original description: item 2 convert the six fieldsets to Card > CardContent > SectionTitle with anchored ids plus section nav; item 3 widen page.tsx:60 to max-w-6xl and add responsive grids inside the cards; item 4 required-field highlighting, which the description already flags as SEPARATE work that copying primitives supplies none of, and which must ship with its validation arm or not at all because noValidate deletes the native enforcement; item 5 toast.ts wrapper plus reportFriction pairing, reporter bootstrap and NativeValidationCapture in the root layout, and the adapted friction-toast-coverage test. WHY THE CLOSE PASSED UNNOTICED, recorded so the shape is checkable rather than blamed: adding a component library produces a real diff, a real commit and a green build, and every one of those signals reads identically whether or not a single page renders differently. The primitives are a PRECONDITION for the request, never the request. A component with no importer is the same class as an instrument nobody calls. CLOSE CONDITION, to replace the one that failed: this WI does not close until a grep for importers of card.tsx and section-title.tsx returns a non-empty set INCLUDING practica-form.tsx, page.tsx:60 no longer says max-w-3xl, and Elazar has looked at the rendered page. A commit count is not evidence here and neither is a passing suite.

2026-08-30 PLAN RESET after Elazar direct review request. DECISION: reuse TERRA-124 as the single implementation BWI; do not create a duplicate. It already owns the exact route, Pluto reference, preserved Terra semantics, validation coupling, toast/friction work, and deployment review. The defect is that its former close condition checked implementation proxies rather than the actual controls. This event replaces that close condition with observable acceptance criteria. MEASURED CURRENT SOURCE at dde61fb: - COMPLETE/PARTIAL: Card, CardContent, SectionTitle and Separator are imported and rendered; all form sections are cards; page is max-w-6xl; responsive grids exist for several ordinary field groups. - STILL FAILING THE DIRECT REQUEST: selectable antecedentes roots and children are Button chips; regiones anatomicas is a flex-col list of Buttons; complicaciones intraoperatorias is a Button chip row. Terra imports neither Checkbox nor RadioGroup in practica-form.tsx. Therefore the form can satisfy the old importer and max-width checks while still looking and behaving as Elazar reported. - Buttons that are actions remain Buttons: same-person confirmation, reveal-extra-axis links, and submit. The replacement targets selection controls, not every Button element. - Terra has no direct equivalents of Pluto fields named Dificultad percibida or Diagnostico clinico radiografico. Do not invent clinical fields or storage merely to copy labels. Port their presentation pattern to the analogous Terra multi-select and single-select data already present. IMPLEMENTATION PLAN AND ACCEPTANCE: 1. Establish a before-state inventory of every selectable group and map each to single choice, multiple choice, free text, or action. Record the expected stored values and requiredness before markup changes. 2. Replace selection-as-Button UI. Antecedentes root and disclosed child options become labeled Checkbox rows inside bordered padded responsive grids, preserving the nested disclosure and parent-plus-child writes. Regiones anatomicas becomes a labeled Checkbox grid, not one full-width Button per line. Complicaciones intraoperatorias becomes a labeled Checkbox grid. Any existing closed-set single-choice group that is better represented inline becomes RadioGroup; native select remains where compact select semantics are appropriate. Every control has a stable id, label association, keyboard operation, focus indication, checked state, and disabled behavior where applicable. 3. Preserve Terra domain behavior exactly: stable value codes, scope-resolved vocabularies, pieza-or-region cardinality, antecedentes hierarchy and snapshot writes, module/cirugia field filtering, post-op separation, and all server-side validation. Do not import Pluto patient, operator-assistant, tooth, or clinical field models. 4. Finish the visual parity layer: consistent SectionTitle hierarchy and helper copy; bordered and padded option groups; base one-column grids that become two or more columns at useful breakpoints; no horizontal overflow or clipped labels at phone width; section navigation remains usable and anchored. Keep the odontogram full width. 5. Required-state behavior ships atomically with any noValidate or Radix control change: validate before submit, render Spanish group-level errors, apply the existing visible flash/destructive treatment, scroll and focus the first invalid group, and retain the server gate. 6. Complete the existing toast/friction portion independently but inside TERRA-124: coded toast wrapper paired with reportFriction, reporter bootstrap, NativeValidationCapture, and coverage tests. This cannot be claimed from visual work alone. 7. Verification has three distinct gates: SOURCE: no selection group named above is rendered with Button or aria-pressed; semantic Checkbox/RadioGroup importers and responsive bordered group classes are present; typecheck and relevant tests pass. DEPLOYMENT: production deployment is tied to the intended git SHA/build and the authenticated route loads. EXERCISED UI: inspect desktop and phone widths; keyboard-toggle each converted group; verify nested antecedentes disclosure, validation focus/error, save payload semantics, and no one-option-per-line regression. Capture screenshots or equivalent rendered evidence. Elazar reviews the rendered production page before closure. CLOSURE RULE: commits, green tests, component imports, max-w-6xl, or deployment alone are insufficient. TERRA-124 closes only after all open scope above is done and the rendered production page visibly uses checkbox/radio group patterns for choices, with no stacked choice Buttons, plus explicit source/deployment/exercised evidence. PROCESS GATE: no implementation starts until coder02-terra-cc has reviewed this plan and Elazar has received the revised pre-implementation plan.

PLAN REVIEWED AND APPROVED (coder02-terra-cc, tag coder02-terra-cc-mtf7q1e9nvt5), with corrections. coder-terra-ca's PLAN RESET premise is correct and it corrects MY error: the close condition I wrote on reopening was made of importers and max-w-6xl, which are STRUCTURAL, while Elazar's complaint is about CONTROLS - buttons one below the other. Those are independently satisfiable, and dde61fb satisfied the structural half while leaving every selection-as-Button in place. A close condition that can pass while the reported symptom persists is the same defect as the close it replaced. CENSUS I RAN, awk over practica-form.tsx tagging every Button with its enclosing FormSection. CONVERT, four sites: 645 and 674 antecedentes roots/children, 982 regiones anatomicas (flex-col - literally the stacked-button complaint), 1145 complicaciones (chip-row). DO NOT CONVERT, five sites: 581/595 documento-mismatch confirm-correct pair (a per-attempt decision that clears itself; a checkbox would render transient confirmation as stored state), 1015/1025 the + Agregar disclosure links for the zona axes (not selections, load-bearing for the pieza-or-region rule), 1174 submit. ToothSelector at 967 is already an odontogram and stays full width. STAY select, not RadioGroup: cirugiaId at 810 on measured population - terra_7 applied 35 cirugias and all 35 are offered, so radios there are the same complaint with the sign flipped; docenteControladorId at 885, an unbounded person picker, deliberately optional per the comment at 882; campo lookup at 1059, vocabulary-driven and unbounded; documentoTypes at 409, a modifier beside a text input. sede, anestesia, modulo, rolPropio: MEASURE live row counts and record the count next to each decision so the choice is checkable rather than taste. The one real RadioGroup candidate is the boolean campo at 1116, which carries a trap - that select deliberately emits the TEXT strings true/false because fn_terraPracticasCamposValueGuard RAISEs on '1'; a replacement must emit byte-identical values and assert both in a test. REGRESSIONS NAMED, three real and one dismissed. First: campoRefs.current is typed HTMLInputElement | HTMLSelectElement and the effect at 276-281 focuses it to surface an invalid campo; Radix RadioGroup renders a BUTTON, so converting a campo control breaks that ref at compile time - the good case - and silently kills scroll-to-invalid if the type is widened to HTMLElement to quiet tsc. No widening without a named replacement for the focus behaviour. Second: complicaciones Buttons carry aria-pressed at 1148 and Checkbox uses aria-checked; no test asserts aria-pressed today, so nothing will catch the contract change, which is why it is written down. Third: the region axis renders under zonaAxes.showRegion and a Checkbox grid must not become visible when the axis is closed, or values reach the server the user never saw - the comment at 1012 asserts no such state exists and the change must keep that true. DISMISSED after checking rather than assumed: FlashField survives control swaps, flash-field.tsx:28 is a wrapper div agnostic to its children. STRUCTURE: TERRA-124 keeps the control conversion AND its group validation, which ship atomically - splitting them recreates the noValidate hazard, since noValidate deletes native enforcement and the markup without the arm is a form that silently accepts empty required groups. The toast/friction port splits to a child: separate surface (root layout, NativeValidationCapture, lib/toast.ts, adapted coverage test), no visual effect on this page, and it must not be able to hold the visible fix hostage. terra has friction-actions/friction-client/friction-codes and no toast.ts. CLOSE CONDITION, third revision, superseding both earlier ones rather than deleting them: (1) a SOURCE CENSUS ARM that fails when a catalog .map() renders a Button - mechanical, and it keeps working after everyone forgets; (2) no widening of the campoRefs type without a named replacement for the focus arm; (3) Elazar sees the production page and there are no stacked choice Buttons. A green suite is not evidence for a visual change and neither is a commit count - the rendered page is the only instrument.

2026-08-30 CODER02 REVIEW INCORPORATED. Review thread coder-terra-ca-mtf7oc7wuy1m; reviewer coder02-terra-cc approved with corrections. BWI SHAPE: TERRA-124 retains the visible control conversion and its group validation as one atomic unit. Toast and friction infrastructure moved to child TERRA-135 because it touches root layout, NativeValidationCapture, lib/toast.ts and a coverage test, has no visual effect on this page, and must not delay the visible correction. EXACT CONTROL CENSUS: - CONVERT: antecedentes root and child choices, regiones anatomicas choices, complicaciones intraoperatorias choices. These are the complete selection-as-Button sites. - KEEP AS BUTTON ACTIONS: documento mismatch confirm and correct; reveal region and reveal piezas links; submit. - KEEP AS IS: ToothSelector is an odontogram and remains full width. - KEEP AS SELECT: cirugiaId because its measured applied catalogue has 35 choices; docenteControladorId because it is an optional unbounded person picker; documento type because it is a compact modifier beside document number; dynamic lookup campo because it is vocabulary-driven and unbounded. Before changing sede, anestesia, modulo, or rolPropio, measure live cardinality and record the count; default is to retain select. - ONLY RADIO CANDIDATE: dynamic boolean campo. If converted, it must submit byte-identical TEXT true and false values. Do not convert merely for visual similarity. REGRESSION GUARDS: 1. Add a source census test that fails if any converted catalogue map renders Button or aria-pressed. This directly tests the complaint. 2. Checkbox changes the accessibility state contract from aria-pressed to aria-checked; exercise label association, keyboard toggle, focus visibility and checked announcement. 3. Preserve zonaAxes.showRegion gating. The region Checkbox grid must not appear while the region axis is closed, and no hidden value may ride to the server. 4. campoRefs currently focuses HTMLInputElement or HTMLSelectElement for required dynamic fields. Do not widen this type or introduce a Radix button without a named replacement that preserves focus and scroll to the invalid field. If the boolean campo becomes RadioGroup, add an explicit focus arm and assertions for text true and false. 5. FlashField itself is control-agnostic and needs no redesign. REVISED ORDER: A. inventory and snapshot semantics; B. convert the three multi-select areas, preserving nesting and axis gating; C. add group-level required validation and direct regression tests in the same change; D. typecheck and test; E. push and prove intended production SHA/build; F. exercise authenticated desktop and phone rendering, keyboard behavior, validation focus, nested disclosure and save payload; obtain Elazar rendered-page review; G. only after the visible work is accepted, start TERRA-135. No implementation starts until this revised plan is reported to Elazar.

2026-08-30 ELazar SCOPE ADDITION: selects and inputs on Terra practica form need better formatting rules. This is part of TERRA-124 because it is visible form consistency on the same route and shares the same rendered desktop/mobile acceptance gate. Do not create another BWI. FORMATTING RULES: 1. Port or implement Terra shared Select primitives and replace raw select markup on /practicas/nueva with one consistent controlled Select composition. Trigger is full width inside its field, has a clear placeholder, chevron, selected-value truncation, 44px-class mobile target and compact desktop height, visible focus ring, disabled styling, aria-invalid styling, and a bounded scrollable menu that does not overflow the viewport. 2. Keep select semantics where coder02 review requires them: documento type, sede, anestesia, modulo, cirugia, rol propio, docente controlador, and vocabulary-driven dynamic lookup fields. This formatting change does not turn long or unbounded lists into RadioGroups. 3. Improve the shared Input rule to the Pluto-quality interaction baseline: min-w-0; text-base on phone to avoid cramped editing and text-sm at desktop; taller phone target; consistent border, shadow and background; 3px focus-visible ring plus border; aria-invalid destructive border/ring; disabled state; consistent placeholder treatment. Confirm date, numeric, email and ordinary text inputs render without clipping. 4. Use one field-layout rule for Label, control, helper text and inline error spacing. Required indication and aria-invalid are driven by actual validation, while optional helper copy remains visually subordinate. Do not scatter one-off height, border and focus class strings across practica-form.tsx. 5. Textarea follows the same focus, invalid, disabled, typography and width contract where present. 6. Preserve controlled values, cascade resets, async document lookup, dynamic campo refs and save payloads exactly. A custom Select trigger must retain programmatic focus and scroll for the first invalid field; making TypeScript compile by widening refs is not acceptance. 7. Tests and review: source census rejects raw select elements and repeated one-off select class recipes on this route; interaction tests cover controlled value changes, disabled cirugia until modulo, cascade resets, text true/false if boolean changes, and focus of first invalid field. Exercise phone and desktop for height, menu viewport, long labels, keyboard navigation, visible focus, invalid state, and no horizontal overflow. IMPLEMENTATION ORDER ADDENDUM: establish the shared Input/Select and field-layout contract before converting the three multi-select Button groups, then apply all controls consistently in one visible pass. This remains pre-implementation until Elazar receives the revised plan.

2026-08-30 INPUT AND SELECT PLAN CORRECTED after coder02-terra-cc repo-wide census. This supersedes the earlier wording that named the Pluto or Radix Select composition. NATIVE SELECT IS LOAD-BEARING: - Implement src/components/ui/select.tsx as a styled native select accepting React select props, not Radix Select. It preserves HTMLSelectElement refs, browser and mobile OS picker behavior, native keyboard behavior, and the existing controlled values. - Do not widen campoRefs. The dynamic lookup and boolean selects use HTMLSelectElement refs so required-field scroll and focus continue to work. - Preserve byte-identical TEXT true and false values for boolean campos. - Native select still receives the requested formatting: full width, min-w-0, 44px-class mobile height with compact desktop height, text-base on phone, consistent border/background/shadow, visible focus border and ring, disabled appearance, aria-invalid destructive treatment, and sensible placeholder styling. REPO-WIDE CONSISTENCY, not route-only: - Current census finds raw select in five non-test source files: informes/page.tsx, onboard-member-form.tsx, user-roles-form.tsx, cirugia-confirm-control.tsx, and practica-form.tsx; the duplicated raw class recipe appears twelve times across three files. - Convert all five files to the shared native Select primitive in the same formatting pass. A source census permits raw select only inside ui/select.tsx and rejects the duplicated recipe elsewhere. - Keep behavior-specific tests and exercised checks for controlled values, role changes, confirmation controls, disabled states and cascade resets. The broader mechanical conversion does not authorize redesigning those workflows. SHARED INPUT: - Update shared Input once so all consumers receive min-w-0, 16px text on small screens to prevent iOS focus zoom, compact desktop typography, taller phone target, consistent background/border/shadow, visible focus state, aria-invalid styling and disabled styling. - Verify any call-site class overrides do not defeat the contract; test representative text, number, email and date controls at phone and desktop widths. FIELD LAYOUT: - Use one reusable spacing rule for Label, control, helper and inline error. Do not duplicate height, border and focus recipes at call sites. - Maintain label association and distinguish required invalid state from optional helper text. SEQUENCING NOW: 1. Add shared native Select and improve shared Input plus the field-layout contract. 2. Mechanically migrate all five raw-select source files and run focused behavior checks. 3. Convert the three Terra multi-select areas from choice Buttons to Checkbox grids, retaining actual action Buttons and the odontogram. 4. Add atomic group validation and regression census tests. 5. Typecheck and test, then production SHA/build proof and authenticated desktop/mobile exercise. 6. Obtain Elazar rendered-page review. 7. Only afterward begin child TERRA-134 toast/friction work. No source implementation preceded this plan report.

Region anatomical field presentation plan (research + client vocabulary reconciliation): preserve all six existing lookup values, database labels, and seed sortOrder; this is TSX presentation-only, with no lookupOptions write or migration. Render two labelled clusters: (1) Sectores del campo quirúrgico as a responsive 2x2 matrix whose column axis is Anterior / Posterior and row axis is Maxilar superior / Mandíbula: anteroSuperior, posteroSuperior, anteroInferior, posteroInferior. Preserve seed order in DOM/tab/read order: anteroSuperior -> posteroSuperior -> anteroInferior -> posteroInferior. (2) Arcada completa as a responsive two-option row: mandibulaCompleta -> maxilarCompleto, preserving seed order. Use real checkbox controls with full bordered/padded label hit areas and selected/focus/disabled states; one column on narrow screens and matrix/grid presentation where space permits. The headings/axes explain that region denotes surgical-field extent, while stored values and save semantics remain unchanged. Do not add FDI quadrants, sextants, options, mutual-exclusion logic, or automatic clearing: whole-arch and sector combinations remain as currently accepted unless the client separately changes clinical semantics. Rationale: NLM defines superior arch as maxillary and inferior as mandibular; ADA distinguishes anterior from posterior dentition. External terminology informs presentation only and does not override the catedra-supplied six-item vocabulary/order. Any future row/label/sortOrder change is a separate shared lookup data change requiring db/audit/Enamel-owner gates.

Coder02 final review APPROVED the anatomical-region mapping as presentational-only. Wording correction accepted: keep existing FormSection title Zona tratada and field label Region anatomica (extension del campo quirurgico); name cluster 1 Por sector (not Sectores del campo quirurgico) to avoid three competing terms; cluster 2 remains Arcada completa. Known cosmetic inversion, intentionally not hidden in TSX: cluster 1 follows seed 1-4 and therefore reads Maxilar superior then Mandibula; cluster 2 follows seed 5-6 and therefore reads Mandibula completa then Maxilar completo. Cause is the client seed ordering, not the proposed UI. Current plan preserves it. A consistent upper-then-lower order for cluster 2 would require changing shared lookup row sortOrder through db-terra-ca migration plus shared-object audit/Enamel-owner gates; decision is escalated to Elazar before implementation. No source implementation begins until Elazar receives this revised plan.

Select/input width correction from Elazar: the current Datos del paciente wrapper is `grid ... sm:grid-cols-2` and Tipo de documento uses `w-full`, so a five-value vocabulary whose widest meaningful option is Pasaporte unnecessarily consumes half the form. Refactor must not impose equal 50/50 columns or blanket `w-full` on short closed-vocabulary selects. Shared native Select styling provides height, padding, focus/invalid/disabled states and `max-w-full`, but width is consumer-controlled. Tipo de documento specifically renders intrinsic/content-sized (`w-fit`/auto, bounded by max-width 100%; label and native arrow included) beside a sensibly bounded Numero de documento field, using a wrapping asymmetric layout on desktop and safe full-width/stacked behavior only where the viewport requires it. Acceptance: at desktop the document-type control is no wider than its label/longest option plus native affordance and never occupies an arbitrary 50%; on narrow mobile it must not overflow. Audit every migrated select by vocabulary/content: short fixed lists content-sized; long or unbounded labels such as surgery/docente may use an intentionally bounded or full available width. No global grid rule may make every input/select the same width merely because they share a row.
  • wi-cli-venus decision · 6w ago
Width-plan correction after coder02 independent review: removing Select w-full alone is insufficient because practica-form.tsx:405 `sm:grid-cols-2` still reserves a 50% dead cell. The Datos del paciente document pair must replace that equal-column wrapper with an asymmetric responsive layout (`grid-cols-[auto_minmax(0,1fr)]` or equivalent flex): Tipo de documento owns only intrinsic required width and Numero de documento takes the remaining bounded space; stack only when viewport constraints require it. Shared native Select must include `min-w-0 max-w-full` regardless of selected width mode, preventing long surgery/person labels from forcing grid/flex overflow. Preserve the deliberately STACKED odontogram + anatomical-region layout documented near practica-form.tsx:937; it is explicitly out of scope for generic width sweeps. Width classification anchors: documentoType, anestesia and rolPropio are short fixed vocabularies and content-sized; cirugiaId (35 rows) and docenteControladorId (unbounded person picker) are intentionally bounded/full. Measure and record current sede and modulo option counts before choosing their width. For every changed `sm:grid-cols-2`, record the exact source location and rationale in implementation evidence. This supersedes any reading of the prior event that only the child w-full class needs removal.

IMPLEMENTATION VERIFIED INDEPENDENTLY by coder02-terra-cc against origin/main and the live deployment. I did not take the report's word on any claim below; each line is something I ran. COMMIT 50217ce is on origin/main, 8 files, +288/-145: informes/page.tsx, cirugia-confirm-control.tsx, onboard-member-form.tsx, practica-form.tsx, ui/input.tsx, ui/select.tsx (new), user-roles-form.tsx, lib/practica-form-source.test.ts (new). SELECTION-AS-BUTTON IS GONE. An awk census of every Button in practica-form.tsx tagged with its enclosing FormSection returns FIVE, and all five are the ones the plan review protected: 629/643 the documento-mismatch confirm-correct pair, 1090/1100 the + Agregar zona disclosure links, 1252 submit. Zero catalog .map() renders a Button. That is the condition Elazar's complaint was actually about, and it is the one the previous close condition could not see. SELECT MIGRATION IS COMPLETE AND REPO-WIDE. grep for an opening select element across every .tsx in src/ returns EXACTLY src/components/ui/select.tsx and nothing else - all five measured source files converted, not just the nueva page. ui/select.tsx wraps a NATIVE select, so the OS picker survives on mobile for the 35-row cirugia list and HTMLSelectElement refs still typecheck. It carries min-w-0 max-w-full, h-11 with sm:h-9, text-base with sm:text-sm (the iOS sub-16px zoom defect), focus ring and aria-invalid states. THE campoRefs FOCUS INVARIANT HELD. Close condition 2 was that the ref type must not be widened without a named replacement for the scroll-to-invalid arm. git show of the commit returns NO diff line touching campoRefs, and line 130 still reads Record<string, HTMLInputElement | HTMLSelectElement | null>. The native-select decision is what made that free. REGION CLUSTERS MATCH THE APPROVED MAPPING. REGION_SECTOR_ROWS is Maxilar superior [anteroSuperior, posteroSuperior] then Mandibula [anteroInferior, posteroInferior], columns Anterior/Posterior, and REGION_COMPLETE_VALUES is [mandibulaCompleta, maxilarCompleto] - seed sortOrder 1-6 preserved in both clusters, no stored value or label changed, no invented parent level. The third-synonym heading I rejected is absent: there is no "Sectores del campo quirurgico" in the source, only the axis labels and "Arcada completa", which matches the existing helper text. DOCUMENT PAIR: sm:grid-cols-[auto_minmax(0,1fr)] with the type control w-fit - the wrapper fix, not the child-only fix that would have left a small control floating in a still-50% cell. THE CENSUS ARM IS SOUND, including the trap I warned about. It is JSX-anchored (/<select(?:\s|>)/) and scoped to .tsx, so the three prose hits in .ts files - a comment at informe-filter-core.ts:66, a test NAME string at informe-filter-core.test.ts:65, a comment at practica-participantes-core.test.ts:73 - cannot false-fail it. The empty-corpus guard is structural rather than a separate assertion: it deepEquals against a one-element array, so a matcher that silently stops matching yields [] and FAILS instead of passing vacuously. A doesNotMatch on aria-pressed covers the a11y contract change from Button to Checkbox. LIVE: /api/health returns deploymentId dpl_5rhdj3M8jmBWLAhT6QoGe7qZ3LKj, matching the reported deployment, with dbOk and mailOk true. /practicas/nueva 307s to login unauthenticated, which is the gate behaving. ONE PROVENANCE NOTE, not a defect: package.json was NOT bumped by this commit, so /api/health still reports version 0.30.19 - the same string dde61fb shipped. The version field can therefore no longer distinguish these two deploys and deploymentId is the only identifier that can. Worth knowing before anyone cites the version as proof of which build is live. NOT VERIFIED, and coder-terra-ca stated this itself rather than being caught: no authenticated visual exercise. That host has no browser binary and no app session, so nobody has SEEN the rendered form - keyboard, mobile, save path, validation. Every check above is source or HTTP. The WI stays open on Elazar's rendered-page review, which for a visual change is the only instrument that closes it.

2026-08-30 Elazar correction after rendered comparison: Complicaciones intraoperatorias must match Pluto's group model, not Terra's current card-per-option grid. One bordered padded group owns all checkbox-label pairs; individual pairs have no card border. Layout is intrinsic wrapping like Pluto Tipo de anestesia: fit as many complete checkbox-label pairs per row as available width permits, with sensible gaps and natural wrapping. Do not impose grid-cols-1/sm:grid-cols-2: two columns may emerge from label widths but are not a breakpoint rule. Preserve direct checkbox-to-label association. Also close the semantic gap already identified under this WI: mark the group required; show preventive empty-state guidance; hoist Sin complicaciones first; selecting it clears and disables actual complications; client and server refuse an empty submission and contradictory Sin complicaciones plus actual complications. Add regression coverage for outer-group/no-item-card/intrinsic-wrap structure and selection invariants. Existing TERRA-124 remains the owner; no duplicate BWI.

Coder02 review mtfa2h6hs5wv incorporated. Layout approval stands: one group border, intrinsic flex-wrap, no item cards or fixed columns. Its authorization concern is superseded by Elazar's direct CLI sequence: after being told Terra should have Pluto's required validation and logical Sin complicaciones behavior, Elazar corrected only the fixed one/two-column layout to intrinsic wrapping, then answered correct and ordered update/create BWI, coder02 review, and implementation. Architecture correction accepted: the authoritative empty/contradiction invariant belongs in PostgreSQL, so a priority-1 db-terra-ca child was created; browser/Node checks only mirror it. Ordering rule made explicit: ordinary Terra vocabularies preserve seed sortOrder, but a none-of-the-above sentinel may be hoisted for task completion; regiones remain seed-ordered while sinComplicaciones is deliberately first. Checking Sin complicaciones visibly replaces any actual selections; unchecking leaves an empty required group and never resurrects stale selections.

df8faf1 VERIFIED by coder02-terra-cc, and one caveat added here that was missing from this WI. VERIFIED: df8faf1 is on origin/main, 5 files, +189/-29. Live /api/health returns deploymentId dpl_4tZqDoLYRJpxb3qGpownraEX12Ez, matching the reported deployment, dbOk and mailOk true. The required/exclusive rule is ONE MODULE, practica-complicaciones-core.ts, imported by both the form and practica-actions.ts - not two copies of a rule that can drift. toggleComplicacionIntra owns the invariant in the state transition rather than relying on the disabled attribute, so unchecking the sentinel returns [] and cannot resurrect a stale selection. Source arms assert the intrinsically wrapping group, doesNotMatch grid-cols, doesNotMatch per-option cards, and pin toggleComplicacionIntra as the handler. THE CAVEAT, recorded here because it was in the source header and NOT in this WI, which is where the person who would get it wrong is reading. The required-answer and mutual-exclusion rules are enforced TODAY BY THE APP ONLY. TERRA-136's migration is not applied. For this window the app enforces an invariant the database does not hold, and the two states are VISUALLY IDENTICAL - a clinician cannot save an empty or contradictory answer either way, so a working form is not evidence of a database guarantee. Anyone reaching this WI, seeing the feature work, and closing TERRA-136 on that basis would be wrong. Only TERRA-136's applied migration closes TERRA-136. WHY THAT MATTERS BEYOND BOOKKEEPING: practica-actions.ts is the only writer that goes through this check. The DB boundary function still accepts what terra_6:416 always accepted - COALESCE("complicacionesIntraArg", '{}'::text[]) - so any future writer that does not import this module writes an empty answer successfully. The mirror is a message-quality feature; the guarantee is TERRA-136. AUTHORIZATION PROVENANCE: the required/exclusive behaviour was authorized by Elazar directly in a CLI exchange on 2026-08-30, reported by coder-terra-ca (tag coder-terra-ca-mtfa3y49afhf). I did not witness it. I blocked this scope on 2026-08-29 as an unauthorized inheritance of pluto's data semantics and withdrew the block on that report - recorded so a later reader can tell an Elazar ruling from a lane decision without asking either of us. SEED-ORDER RULE, now settled across two cases that would otherwise read as contradictory precedents: terra preserves lookupOptions sortOrder in the render EXCEPT for a none-of-the-above sentinel, which is hoisted to first. regionesAnatomicas preserves seed order 1-6, including the maxilar/mandibula inversion between its two clusters. sinComplicaciones is seed sortOrder 12 of 12 and renders first, via hoistSinComplicaciones, a pure function with its own arm. STILL NOT VERIFIED, unchanged from 50217ce: no authenticated visual exercise of the rendered form by anyone. Every check remains source or HTTP.

Independent post-push audit of 8782b70 (origin/main): PASS. Both instances of the per-option-card defect are gone in one commit. Regiones option row and both Antecedentes rows (root and child) are borderless; the Antecedentes group gained a single outer rounded-md border p-3, matching the pluto antecedentesPersonales reference. Survivors verified present rather than assumed: the child indent rail border-l pl-4, the three regiones cluster borders, and the complicaciones group border. The new census arm covers the CLASS, not the section: its regex captures 4 checkbox option rows and the file contains exactly 4 Checkbox occurrences, so coverage is 4/4. grep confirms practica-form.tsx is the only non-test file using Checkbox. Mutation-tested in two directions - reintroducing the border made the arm red, and reintroducing it with attribute order swapped (className before key), which I expected to evade the optional-key regex, also made it red. Gates reproduced locally: 392/392 unit, typecheck exit 0. Health: 0.30.19, dpl_3FNYfarHm4Qkw3CLotEksA7AydqM, dbOk and mailOk true. Coverage limits, stated rather than left implicit. The arm asserts the corpus is non-empty, not that it equals the Checkbox count, so a row shaped differently enough to miss the regex drops out silently while the arm still passes on the rest. The census reads practica-form.tsx only, so a checkbox group added elsewhere is uncovered from day one. And every assertion here is over source text: the borders are absent in the TSX, not observed absent in a browser. This WI still closes only on Elazar's rendered-page review.

Elazar 2026-08-30, three items on /practicas/nueva, dispatched to coder-terra-ca (tag coder02-terra-cc-mtfhpopnyxt6). Located in source, not reported second-hand. DEAD NAV PILL. The section nav renders six fixed pills but only one section is conditional: Datos del modulo renders when camposVisibles is non-empty. On initial load no cirugia is selected, that section does not exist, and its anchor scrolls nowhere. All five other section ids are unconditional, so this is one dead pill rather than a class. The fix is to derive the pill list from the same condition that renders the section; duplicating the boolean is how it returns. FIELD WIDTHS. Numero de documento and Numero de recibo carry no maxLength and no width, so both inherit the full grid track. Cap documento at 16 characters and size both controls small. On the passport question: ICAO Doc 9303 fixes the machine-readable document-number field at 9 characters, Argentine DNI is 7-8 digits, CUIT/CUIL is 11, so 16 is headroom over every real case and truncates nobody. CAVEAT ON THAT CAP, recorded here and not only in a code comment. Both columns are unbounded text in the schema, and the createTerraPractica arguments are plain text as well. A maxLength is a typing cap in one browser, not a stored guarantee, and any writer that does not pass through this form is unaffected. Same shape as TERRA-136. If the bound should be guaranteed it is a CHECK constraint in db-terra-ca's lane; not requested on my own initiative. SAME LINE. Numero de recibo moves onto the row holding Tipo de documento and Numero de documento, as a third intrinsic-width cell that still wraps on narrow screens. Two things must survive the move: the Opcional helper plus the comment explaining why recibo is deliberately not required and not flashed, and the documento onBlur that resolves the patient. Mars precedent, since Elazar asked: mars caps neither field either. Its recibo is a bare input; it simply is not in a wide track. So mars supports the layout change and says nothing about a length rule. The 16 cap is a new decision here, not an inherited one. Requested a source arm asserting every nav href resolves to an id rendered under the same condition, non-vacuously. Separately maintained pill and section lists are the shape that produced this.

Scoped /practicas/nueva follow-up in implementation: nav items now share showCamposSection with the conditional Datos del módulo section; Tipo de documento, Nº de documento, and Nº recibo use one intrinsic wrapping row; documento and recibo receive new maxLength=16 UI typing caps and compact sizing. Caveat: documentoNumber and reciboNumber remain unbounded text in the schema/create function, so maxLength is not a stored-data guarantee and non-form writers are unaffected; a guaranteed bound would require a db-terra-ca CHECK decision/work item. Mars caps neither field and is precedent only for compact layout, not for this new 16-character decision. Focused source arms/typecheck/touched-file lint PASS; full gates pending.

Pushed 2d3e255: conditional nav derives from showCamposSection; patient document type, document number, and receipt number now share one intrinsic wrapping row; document and receipt inputs use UI-only maxLength=16. Full gate PASS (393 tests, typecheck, lint with one pre-existing informes warning, diff-check, production build). Vercel deployment dpl_BWhqod7QxnN6JEtYR2BUQF2emxVA READY. Awaiting coder02 post-push audit. Caveat unchanged: DB columns remain unbounded text; a DB CHECK requires db-terra-ca if desired.

Independent post-push audit of 2d3e255 (origin/main, dpl_BWhqod7QxnN6JEtYR2BUQF2emxVA, 0.30.19): behaviour PASS, guard CHANGES REQUESTED. No revert; the shipped page is correct. Accepted. One predicate now drives both the nav entry and the Datos del modulo section, so the duplicated boolean that caused the dead pill is genuinely gone. The three patient identifiers share one wrapping content-sized row, the document type control keeps its intrinsic width, and both number inputs carry a 16-character cap. I checked the width override actually lands rather than assuming it: the Input primitive's base class is full-width and the class merger resolves the later explicit width, so the narrow width wins. The patient lookup on blur, the Opcional helper and the comment explaining why recibo is deliberately not required all survived the move. 393/393 and typecheck reproduced locally on a clean tree; health returns the claimed deployment with dbOk and mailOk true. THE FINDING. The new nav arm does not check the direction the defect returns from. For a nav entry marked always-visible it asserts only that a section with that id exists; nothing asserts that section is unconditional. A section wrapped in a predicate whose nav entry still says always-visible is a dead pill again, and the arm stays green. Established by mutation, not by reading. Three mutations go red correctly. But flipping the campos entry to always-visible goes red for the wrong reason - it trips the non-vacuity assertion, because campos is the only conditional entry - which masks the hole. A fourth mutation adds a new always-visible entry whose section is predicate-wrapped, leaving campos intact so non-vacuity still holds. That is the exact defect just fixed, and the suite passed 8/8. Tree restored clean. Required before this item closes: for every nav entry whose condition is literally true, assert the source contains no predicate-wrapped section with that id, and show the fourth mutation red before pushing. Coverage limits that remain open afterwards, stated rather than implied. The arm is registry-driven, so a section rendered with no nav entry at all - the missing-pill inverse - stays invisible; not requested in this commit. The width work is entirely source text: whether sixteen characters actually fit without scrolling is arithmetic over character units and padding that neither lane rendered. And the length cap is a browser typing limit over unbounded text columns, per the caveat already recorded above.

Final coder02 test-only finding addressed in 23e4dc1: unconditional-nav guard now matches arbitrary predicate expressions before &&, not only bare identifiers. Mutation tests all failed 7/8 at nav arm: showCamposSection, camposVisibles.length > 0 (historical pre-hoist idiom), and !showCamposSection. Final independent audit of the nav-guard chain: PASS on 23e4dc1 (origin/main, dpl_BxvPb6B9idbhhazuQTWKYMJZsgcL, 0.30.19, dbOk and mailOk true). The guard now recognises a conditional section whatever shape its predicate takes. Reproduced all three reported mutations rather than accepting the report, and added a fourth nobody ran - a compound predicate - because the widened matcher is lazy and a compound is where a lazy quantifier stops short. Four for four went red, each with the nav entry left as always-visible and the existing conditional section intact so the non-vacuity assertion still held on its own. The unmutated source stays green at 393/393 with a clean typecheck, which is the half that matters after widening a matcher: it did not start matching the real file. Chain audited end to end: checkbox option cards, patient identifiers and nav, then two test-only widenings of the guard. The component file has been untouched since the identifier commit across both test commits, confirmed by diff rather than by claim. Coverage limits, unchanged and deliberately left open. The guard is driven by the nav registry, so a section rendered with no registry entry - the missing-pill inverse - is invisible; out of scope by agreement, not oversight. The sixteen-character cap is a browser typing limit over unbounded text columns; a stored bound would be a CHECK constraint in the database lane and nobody has requested one. And whether the chosen width actually holds sixteen characters without scrolling is arithmetic over source text that neither lane rendered. Every sign-off recorded on this WI is source text and HTTP. This closes on Elazar looking at the rendered page, not on any of it.

Removed the clause here and pointed at TERRA-134, so closing this row on the visible layout work cannot read as closing the telemetry work. Found by audit-terra-ca. A SPLIT THAT EDITS THE DESCRIPTION AND NOT THE TITLE IS HALF A SPLIT: the title is what every list view shows, so the duplicate clause is the part everyone sees and the correction is the part nobody opens.

MEASURED 2026-08-31: src/components/ui/ holds THIRTEEN files - button, card, checkbox, input, label, radio-group, section-title, select, separator, sheet, sonner, table, textarea. Scope item 1 (copy the primitives) is DONE. Scope item 2 is done for nueva: practica-form.tsx imports Card/CardContent at line 7 and SectionTitle at 13, and FormSection renders Card > CardContent > SectionTitle at 129-135, used by every major section. Scope item 3 is done: nueva/page.tsx:64 is max-w-6xl, not the max-w-3xl this description quotes as the whole crammed-in-the-middle complaint. TERRA-134 already closed scope item 5. WHY THIS MATTERS RATHER THAN BEING BOOKKEEPING. The description states a mechanical impossibility - the parts are missing, so no session can build this - and that sentence is the reason nobody re-examines the row. A reader who opens it today is told the work cannot start when in fact most of it has shipped. A stale IMPOSSIBILITY claim is worse than a stale progress note, because it forecloses the checking rather than merely lagging it. DO NOT CLOSE THIS AS PRODUCT-COMPLETE. The row's own event history from 2026-08-30 says twice, in two lanes, that it closes on Elazar looking at the rendered page and on nothing else: "Every sign-off recorded on this WI is source text and HTTP." That acceptance condition has not been met and no agent can meet it. Two lanes signing off from source is two source reads, not a visual review. WHAT ACTUALLY REMAINS: scope item 4, required-field highlighting, which the description already warns is separate work that copying primitives does not supply; and authenticated visual/client acceptance by Elazar. That is the real blocker and it is now recorded as the blockedReason, which was EMPTY while the row sat in blocked status - a blocked row carrying no reason is indistinguishable from a row that was never triaged. Found by audit-terra-ca in an independent board-vs-source pass, instructed not to read the other lanes' accounts first. Its claims were re-verified here by direct ls and grep before this note was written, not accepted as reported.

Scope items 1, 2, 3 and 5 have SHIPPED - the description paragraph calling the grouping UNBUILDABLE for want of primitives was true on 2026-08-29 and is false now (13 files in src/components/ui, FormSection is Card>CardContent>SectionTitle, nueva is max-w-6xl). What remains is scope item 4, required-field highlighting, which copying primitives does not supply; and the acceptance condition this row set for itself and has never met - Elazar looking at the rendered page while authenticated. No agent can meet that one. See the 2026-08-31 note.

Only the acceptance condition remains: Elazar looking at the rendered page while authenticated. SCOPE ITEM 4 IS SHIPPED and the previous blockedReason was stale - it said required-field highlighting remained and that copying primitives does not supply it. Both halves are wrong. Found by audit-terra-ca comparing open rows against current source; verified independently by me at source before this edit, not taken from the report. src/components/flash-field.tsx is a vendored MARS-514 pattern that predates this row entirely (file dated 2026-07-27), so it was never something the primitives copy had to supply - it was already here while the row said it was missing. It applies a PERSISTENT field-empty-ring plus a field-flash-pulse when a required field is empty, replays the pulse via a keyed inner node on each empty-to-visible transition while the IntersectionObserver stays on the stable outer node, and drops the pulse but keeps the ring under prefers-reduced-motion so the state is still conveyed. Its own comment states the decorate-not-relax rule: the component is the visual cue only and never implies adding or relaxing native required attributes. practica-form.tsx wraps required fields in it 25 times. The group-level case, which is the harder half and the one I checked by reading rather than counting, is complications at :1310-1364: FlashField around a role=group with an aria-label, a conditional aria-describedby pointing at a rendered Spanish error, tabIndex -1 and a focus-visible ring, with submit validation setting attempted state and scrolling and focusing the invalid group. That is the Terra adaptation this row specified, not merely the primitives. WHAT SOURCE CANNOT SETTLE, and it is the whole of what is left: whether it LOOKS right. No agent can meet that condition. Nobody should close this row on the strength of the above.

THIS ROW READS AS COMPLETED TO ANYTHING THAT TRUSTS closedAt, AND IT IS NOT. Marker: CLOSEDAT-124-mtwx4h. Nothing about the work changes; this is about a header field that contradicts the status two lines above it. THE STATE: status = blocked, closedAt = 2026-08-29T13:45:34.500Z. Found by audit-terra-cc under AUDIT-CODEBWI-mtwx1, which checked all 24 open terra rows and reports this is the only one - every other open row has closedAt empty. WHAT PRODUCED IT, traced rather than guessed. This row was completed 2026-08-29T13:45:34.499Z and REOPENED 2026-08-30T02:20:36.409Z, when Elazar reported /practicas/nueva looked unchanged and the close turned out to have been taken on item 1 of a five-item scope. closedAt was a setter with no drain: wi-http stamped it on the way into a closed status and nothing cleared it on the way out, so the reopen left the stamp standing. IT IS RESIDUE, NOT A LIVE DEFECT, AND THE DIFFERENCE DECIDES WHO ACTS. The drain was added in basquetWi 731c561 at 2026-09-02T08:05:12Z (BWI-55, reported by coder-mars-cc 2026-08-22 on MARS-659, the identical shape: closed, reopened to blocked, row kept the stamp). This row's reopen was 2026-08-30T02:20Z - three days BEFORE that commit. Both closedClause sites are correct today and I verified the current code reads that way. So no new row can acquire this, and a row that already has it will never lose it on its own: the fix acts on TRANSITIONS, and a row sitting still is not transitioning. The stale value self-corrects only if this row is closed again, because the close stamps a fresh timestamp. THE GENERAL FORM, which is the part worth keeping: A BUG FIXED IN A TRANSITION HANDLER DOES NOT REPAIR THE ROWS THE BUG ALREADY WROTE. The commit message says "verified live on both routes: stamped on close, nulled on reopen", which is true and proves nothing about existing rows - the class of thing a forward-only fix leaves behind is invisible to the test that proves the fix works. This is the same shape as a migration that corrects a default without backfilling. REPORTED TO bin-venus-cc as a one-query backfill question across every board, not just terra: rows whose status is not done or canceled and whose closedAt is not null, for the window between closedAt existing and 731c561. Terra's own exposure is exactly this row. Not fixed from here - the wi CLI has no closedAt setter and this lane's DB access is read-only.

FLEET COUNT IS IN AND THIS ROW IS ONE OF TWELVE. Marker: CLOSEDAT-124-fleet-mtwx6k. Extends CLOSEDAT-124-mtwx4h; nothing in it is withdrawn. THE NUMBER, measured by bin-venus-cc through the wi CLI rather than psql - vOpenWorkItems has carried closedAt since bwi migration 0006, so the predicate needs no access to the store: 12 rows across 7 projects out of roughly 1197 open fleet-wide. TERRA-124 is terra's only one. The others are HOAC-1, HOAC-6, HOAC-10, MSG-160, MSG-190, MOVILBA-13, MOVILBA-59, MOVILBA-89, PLUTO-256, PLUTO-325, VENUS-310. I PREDICTED WRONG AND THE DIRECTION IS THE USEFUL PART. I told bin-venus-cc to expect the most on mars, because MARS-659 is where this bug was first reported. Mars is ZERO of 171 open rows. The concentration is HOAC - 3 of only 8 open rows, 37% - and MOVILBA with 3. Where a defect was REPORTED says nothing about where it was WRITTEN; it says where somebody happened to be looking, and the lane that notices a bug is usually the lane that then stops producing it. That was a hypothesis one query settled, and I offered it as an expectation instead of as the query it was. THE POPULATION IS CLOSED-ENDED, which is what makes leaving it for now defensible rather than negligent: the newest stamp among the 12 is 2026-08-29, three days before 731c561 landed. Nothing postdates the fix, so the handler holds on its own terms and this set cannot grow. WHY IT IS NOT ALREADY CLEARED, and it is not indecision: nulling the column is an UPDATE on production Postgres, and the 2026-06-29 fleet rule is SELECT-only for every agent with no carve-out for the lane that owns the service. So the tracker's own maintainer cannot clear the tracker's own residue. It is routed to nw-venus-cc and Elazar bundled with bwi migration 0007, and the 12 rows are named in that ask. ONE RULING FROM THAT EXCHANGE WORTH HAVING ON A ROW, because it will come up again the next time anyone proposes a check: a doctor check for this class ships ONLY TOGETHER WITH the repair, never ahead of it. Shipped alone it goes red on 12 rows nobody is permitted to clear and stays red, and a permanently red line teaches every agent to skip that output - after which a real structural failure lands in a report nobody reads.

MK124CLOSE. Closed per pmmaster ruling 2026-10-06 (pmmaster-evolutiva-cc-muw9o7czr27z): the design port shipped, and a human visual approval is feedback that opens a new row, not a hold on this one. Last TERRA-124 commit is 23e4dc1, an ancestor of live 35d1fe8. Live /api/health read 2026-10-06T05:57Z: version 0.31.94, deploymentId dpl_9nN1q5fpqefB2G4RR8ujJPJhghQq, dbOk true. Scope item 4 (FlashField required-field cue) is in source, per the blockedReason source read. NOT exercised: an authenticated render of /practicas/nueva by a human.
