git-workflow.md tells every agent to run 'gitpush.sh --infoforllms' once per session and calls it the source of truth. It is several hundred lines, and it is read by every agent on every host at session start - a script written to save tokens now spends a large fixed cost before it does any work. It also self-versions into .gitpush-pre.sh and forces a re-read whenever policy changes. Under the split there is no single --infoforllms to read. Replace it with a chooser doc short enough to be read in full (target: one screen) that maps stack -> script -> the one command to run. Per-script detail goes behind --help on that script, read only by whoever is working on it. Depends on OPS-177 landing the doc.

That file now opens 'This file is the fleet's git ruleset. The tool pushes; this file states the rules.' The chooser doc this row wanted as the replacement already exists and is already the doctrine every agent reads. (2) 'It is several hundred lines' - MEASURED: the usage() block in gitpush.sh is 19 lines, from 'usage() {' to its HELP terminator. --infoforllms is now a plain alias of --help (gitpush.sh:47, alongside --llm/-llm/-h) and its text ends 'The fleet's git rules ... are in ~/.claude/git-workflow.md. This script is not the rulebook.' The per-session fixed cost the row was written to remove is gone; what remains is ordinary help output nobody is told to read. (3) 'It also self-versions into .gitpush-pre.sh and forces a re-read whenever policy changes' - the self-versioning text is not in the 19-line block. COVERAGE: this is a grep over one .md and one .sh on venus. git-workflow.md is per-host (~/.claude is not in sh.git), so whey's and lezama's copies are NOT measured here - if either still instructs the per-session read, that is an nw-lane doc fix on that host, not this row.
