Fresh SELECT-only census 2026-10-09 04:xx ART on both bases: public.opciones has 33 soft-deleted rows PROD and 34 DEV; none has nombre_mostrable longer than 40 characters; max deleted label length is 37 in both (so max with the 10-character suffix would be 47). Installed pg_views definitions confirm the 12 MOVILBA-123 views use the left(...,40) suffix form in both bases. This refresh covers current catalog exposure and the 12 truncating views, not a complete inventory of the eight non-truncating surfaces. No synthetic long-label exercise and no policy chosen; unified length vs no truncation still needs the business decision recorded in the item.

Picked up for read-only inventory on 2026-10-09 after coder03's backlog push.

Complete installed-view recount SELECT-only in PROD and DEV, 2026-10-09: for the exact 12 MOVILBA-123 views, each base has 49 '(borrado)' occurrences, 41 occurrences, and 8 uncapped suffix occurrences. The eight uncapped expressions are in three views: public.v_personas_completas (6), public.v_vehiculos_detalle (1), public.v_vehiculos_export (1), not eight separate view objects. This resolves the inventory gap from my prior progress note. Deleted-option labels >40 chars remain 0 in both bases (max 37; deleted rows 33 PROD / 34 DEV). No long-label synthetic exercise or policy decision; retain the decision as outstanding.

Correction to preceding note: each base has 49 borrado suffix occurrences and 41 expressions using left with a 40-character name limit, leaving 8 uncapped expressions. No content changed in the repo; this only repairs the missing function name in my BWI progress text.

The current PROD/DEV census is complete: 0 deleted option labels exceed 40 chars (max 37); in the 12 MOVILBA-123 views, 41 expressions truncate at 40 and 8 are uncapped. A consistent policy can either truncate all 20 surfaces or remove truncation from all; neither value is implied by current data. No synthetic >40-char label was exercised. Waiting for the owner’s display-length decision before code or a synthetic acceptance test.
