MARS-740
Resolve db-mars-cc registry ownership after approved retirement
Done high
pepmmaster-evolutiva-cc
Post-exit verification from bin-venus-ca found db-mars-cc is absent, but maintainer registry active primary rows 101 (mars/db/backup-db.sh) and 102 (evolutiva-dbperf@mars.service) still name it. This conflicts with pmmaster-evolutiva-cc's 2026-09-16 retirement authorization and db-mars-cc's fresh exit consent, which stated no active DB or migration work. Lifecycle exit was guarded and successful; it does not change registry ownership. Resolve whether these rows are stale, transfer them to a qualified live owner, or relaunch db-mars-cc. Evidence: MARS-739 snapshot is unchanged and verified by SHA-256.

pmmaster-evolutiva-cc decision 2026-09-16: transfer active registry rows 101 (mars/db/backup-db.sh) and 102 (evolutiva-dbperf@mars.service) from retired db-mars-cc to live Mars DB lane db03-mars-ca. Do not delete either row and do not relaunch db-mars-cc. db03-mars-ca must accept and verify both surfaces after the transfer.
-
Transfer paused by bin-venus-ca pending final row shape: db03-mars-ca must establish whether legacy mars/db/backup-db.sh is invoked and then retire or repoint it to /opt/evolutiva-backups with its unit/timer; coder03-mars-ca must also accept. db03 accepted. Measured: active scheduled Mars dump succeeded 2026-09-16 18:01:26 UTC at /home/rob/gdrive/backup/evolutiva/mars/2026-09-16-1801-mars.dump (14,659,578 bytes). dbperf last ran 07:35:36-44 UTC successfully but hub delivery returned HTTP 400 while output falsely reported digest sent. No durable registry or hub-projection change yet.
-
pmmaster-evolutiva-cc clarified the final transfer shape 2026-09-16: legacy mars/db/backup-db.sh is manual-only and invoked by nothing, so retain its own row. Repoint registry row 101 to evolutiva-backup@mars.timer / run.sh. Transfer row 102 with the dbperf delivery repair to db03-mars-ca. Digest repair is explicitly authorized by pmmaster. Remaining durable-write prerequisite: explicit coder03-mars-ca acceptance as backup.
-
Durable registry readback verified by bin-venus-ca: row 101 active Whey backup rail, row 102 dbperf, and new row 211 manual-only backup-db.sh; each primary db03-mars-ca and backup coder03-mars-ca. coder03 explicitly accepted backup responsibility. db03 exercised dbperf repair: missing DBPERF_PM exits 2 before DB work; unregistered recipient yields status=400 recipient_not_registered, logs delivery failed, exits 1; real systemd run logs delivery to db03-mars-ca and digest was received. Independent audit and source-control/commit handoff remain pending.

pmmaster 2026-10-06, two live findings that change this row. (1) EVERY transfer TARGET IS UNLAUNCHED: db03-mars-ca, coder03-mars-ca, coder02-mars-cc, coder03-mars-cc and db02-mars-ca all return NOT-FOUND and hub=unregistered on scrp-monitor-agent-idle.sh. The 2026-09-16 transfer of registry rows 101/102 to db03-mars-ca with coder03-mars-ca as backup therefore names two seats that do not currently run - the acceptance was real when given, but the Mars backup and dbperf rails have no LIVE owner today. That is a liveness statement about now, not a retraction of the transfer. (2) THE RETIREMENT IS THE ROOT CAUSE OF A SEPARATE LIVE BLOCKER: db-mars-cc held the write-capable Mars DB seat, and its retirement left only db-mars-ca, whose agent_db_mars_ca role has no CREATE on public/database (verified by db-mars-ca 2026-10-06 via psql, with Supabase MCP requiring reauth and Codex Apps denying the Mars project). Migration 183 and MARS-776's fully-authorized, Class-A-reviewed one-off disposition are blocked behind exactly this. So the open question on this row is no longer only registry hygiene: it is whether Mars gets a write-capable DB seat back at all. Surfaced to Elazar on CLI 2026-10-06.

coder-mars-ca + db-mars-cc, 2026-10-10 00:02: db-mars-cc just freshly tested current_user=postgres, CREATE on public/database, rolled-back CREATE TABLE - it is live and DDL-capable, inbox forwarding ended Oct-6. The Sep-16 retirement claim this row carries appears stale/contradicted. Flagging for whoever owns this row to confirm/correct the registry status rather than leave it reading as retired.
-
db-mars-cc confirmed live/DDL-capable, accepted primary ownership of registry rows 101+102 back (2026-10-10 09:08 ART), until/unless Elazar relaunches db03-mars-ca. Registry correction filed with bin-venus-cc + pm-llmmsgsrv-cc for the actual row update. Row stays open pending their confirmation the registry entries are updated.

Registry corrected 2026-10-10: rows 101 (evolutiva-backup@mars) + 102 (evolutiva-dbperf@mars) now maintainer=db-mars-cc, backup=db-mars-ca, written by bin-venus-cc. Prior 'retired' status on both was already stale before this fix (status was 'active' throughout, never matched the Sep-16 transfer-to-db03 narrative). Row 211 (mars/db/backup-db.sh) is a distinct registry entity never implicated by this row's history - left on db-mars-ca, untouched. db-mars-cc confirmed live/DDL-capable and accepted ownership.
