Edge-safe error sink for pg bundled into Edge instrumentation

audit-mars-ca finding during MARS-449 (2026-07-15): pg client bundled by Next.js Edge instrumentation lacks an Edge-safe error sink -- surfaced while root-causing the v2.25.18/2213a5a Supabase auth-stack version-skew incident (pg 8.20 pin restored the deploy but the underlying Edge-bundling-of-pg issue is separate and needs its own fix). Needs an owned follow-up: ensure Edge runtime paths that end up importing pg fail/log safely instead of silently misbehaving.
