Codex AGENTS.md lacks the no-ack/no-phatic rule, so daily coaching of -ca agents cannot land

kpi-coach v1.12 run 2026-09-13 21:11 ART: 11 coachable findings, 10 of them rule3 ack-opener/gratitude-closer, and 9 of those 10 are Codex (-ca) agents: nw-venus-ca (6+ 'Received.'/'Confirmed.'/'Verified and acknowledged:'), bin-venus-ca, coder04-mba-l-ca, bin-lezama-ca, coder-mba-l-ca. The coach's own rules feedback says the lexicon is saturated and per-agent daily DMs are not landing. MECHANISM, verified 2026-09-14 on venus: the no-performance-layer rule exists only in Claude-loaded files (global CLAUDE.md §Tone; llmmsg-protocol.md:104 'Drop the performance layer: ... received, ack, sure, praise'). ~/.codex/AGENTS.md (venus, 11 lines, not a symlink) carries no tone/opener/gratitude rule at all, so a Codex agent's instructions never contain the norm it is coached against daily. Coaching an agent on a rule its instruction file lacks is fixing the rule instead of the primitive. FIX: one line in ~/.codex/AGENTS.md on all three hosts (whey/lezama copies are per-host; check each, and whether AGENTS.md should become an sh.git symlink like the ~/.claude rule files), e.g. 'llmmsg-srv messages: no receipt/ack openers (Received., Acknowledged., Understood., Confirmed.) and no thanks/praise closers; open with the substance.' ACCEPTANCE: next 3 coach runs show the -ca share of rule3 findings falling, measured on the coach summary, not assumed. GATE: fleet STOP from 2026-09-12 still in force; not a carve-out, so held until resume. Not a wire gate (coach v2.16 rules out gating).
