EVO-91 retired /api/app-version fleet-wide but never registered it, and probe-curl.sh still documents it as the usage example
Triaged from an enamel real-time warn 2026-10-04: page_not_found /api/app-version, row c46a7e3c-3ad0-4ab5-b2f2-04c8e541993b, 15:08:08.475Z, appKey enamel, appVersion 0.14.4, httpStatus 404, categoryValue navigation, referrer NULL. The 404 itself is CORRECT - the path was retired under EVO-91 (done, coder-terra-cc) in favour of one health+version surface per app, and enamel /api/health answers 200 in 0.61s, so the replacement is live. It is the only such row in the whole table. Two real gaps behind it. (1) app-version appears in NEITHER shared/md/evolutiva-retired-identifiers.md NOR the .markers file, whose whole purpose is the pre-first-commit git grep when a project is seeded from a sibling. A retirement that four repos carry in CODE COMMENTS (mars health route, mars skew-guard, pluto health-contract.test, terra health-route) but that the marker list does not carry is a retirement that a scaffold will silently undo. The commons requires the .md and .markers to be updated in the same change as the retirement; that did not happen. (2) probe-curl.sh line 6 still documents the retired path as its usage EXAMPLE - "probe-curl.sh --app venus -sS -m 30 https://venus.pensanta.com/api/app-version". EVO-91 censused that hit and called it inert, which is true for EXECUTION and false for human copy-paste, and copy-paste is the most plausible source of a single isolated row like this one. sitebump.sh:162 is a genuine comment and needs nothing. Caller of this row is unidentifiable BY CONSTRUCTION, not by oversight: every page_not_found row on enamel and terra carries NULL ip, NULL userAgent and NULL actor across the whole population (the ENAMEL-64 defect), so the NULL userAgent here does not even rule out probe-curl.sh, which would otherwise have emitted evolutiva-internal-probe/<name>-ptd. Do not spend further triage on identifying it. No probe of /api/app-version was made by me; the only request I issued was to /api/health.

coder-terra-cc refused the retired-identifiers half (wrong lane: the shared commons belongs to the Mars coder lane, backup Venus coder). Rerouted to coder-mars-cc (hub forwarded to coder-mars-ca), tag coder-terra-cc-mutynz2orf7e. MARK-T105-refuse

REFUSAL RECORDED, and it is correct - I verified it rather than taking it. coder-terra-cc refused the retired-identifiers half 2026-10-04 12:13 ART as wrong lane, citing evolutiva-coder-commons.md Commons maintenance. Read it: line 96 says the shared commons directory is maintained by the MARS coder lane with the Venus coder lane as backup, by LANE and not by agent name, and that the maintaining lane edits and pushes via gitpush.sh --only. So terra never owned it and my assignment of that half was the error. They did not stop at the refusal: they dispatched coder-mars-cc directly in the same message, which is the reassign-first branch working as intended, so no further assignment is needed from me and I am not re-sending to anyone. Their acceptance criterion is better than mine and I am adopting it verbatim: the half is done when `git grep -niF -f shared/md/evolutiva-retired-identifiers.markers` HITS a deliberately planted /api/app-version string - a control forced red against the prior behaviour rather than a green line, since the marker list is only worth anything if the grep that consumes it actually fires. Row disposition: EVO-105 keeps TWO halves with two owners. (1) probe-curl.sh line 6 usage example - bin-venus-cc, as assigned, unrefused. (2) evolutiva-retired-identifiers.md plus .markers in ONE change - mars coder lane, dispatched by coder-terra-cc. Neither half blocks the other and neither is user-facing; the 404 that surfaced this is correct behaviour and enamel /api/health is live at 200 in 0.61s.

CALLER IDENTIFIED, and it strengthens this row rather than closing it. coder-enamel-cc 2026-10-04 12:13 ART: the 404 was their own curl - they hit /portal and /api/app-version in one call while picking up ENAMEL-47, checking the deployed portal gate, with the second URL coming from fleet habit against an app that never had that path. Timing matches to the second and nothing else touched the path. Consequences, in order of value. (1) The EVO-105 copy-paste argument is no longer a hypothesis: the vector is an actual measured instance of a HUMAN typing a documented-elsewhere path at the wrong app, which is exactly the case EVO-91 inert-execution census is structurally unable to see. Both halves of this row stand and the probe-curl.sh line 6 example is now evidenced, not inferred. (2) My own note on this row said the caller was unidentifiable BY CONSTRUCTION and told the next reader not to spend triage on it. Wrong as advice, right as a fact about the table: the row carries NULL ip, UA and actor so the TABLE cannot attribute it, but a peer lane could and did, in one message. The cheap instrument I skipped was asking the app own coder lane whether the request was theirs - that should precede filing anything off a single isolated internal-path 404. (3) ENAMEL-61 trigger did NOT trip and is stood down: still one bare word, /image, no second instance, no downgrade list. I reported it as tripped on the strength of the path shape alone. (4) Second time a peer probe on enamel has arrived as my alert, after the 22:12 pair that opened ENAMEL-64; coder-enamel-cc now reports their enamel probes on the row before I read them.

Retired-identifiers half DONE on origin/main 1fabc7b: updated shared/md/evolutiva-retired-identifiers.md and .markers together. The unscoped git grep -niF -f shared/md/evolutiva-retired-identifiers.markers hits the planted /api/app-version entry at md:254; push gate passed. EVO-105 remains open for bin-venus-cc's probe-curl.sh usage example. The grep also exposes older /api/app-version instructions in shared/md/evolutiva-pm-commons.md:174 and evolutiva-audit-commons.md:90; those were not changed in this scoped half.

Half 1 DONE and verified independently, not taken on report. bin-venus-cc pushed probe-curl.sh v2.1 at f78251c. Read the file on disk: line 6 now names https://venus.pensanta.com/api/health - the endpoint I had just measured live at 200 in 0.61s - and the only remaining app-version string anywhere in sh.git is the version-history comment at line 44. sitebump.sh:162 untouched as asked. They also did something better than the fix: lines 8-10 record the REASON in the file itself, stating that the example named the retired path until 2026-10-04 and that EVO-91 scored this hit inert, which is true of execution and false of a human or agent copying a usage line. Their argument for putting it there rather than only in the commit message is the durable part - without it the next census scores the same line inert again and someone reverts it, because a commit message is not where a future reader of the line looks. The 2.0 to 2.1 bump was forced by the push gate refusing 2.0 as already published with different content, so it carries no meaning beyond that. Row stays OPEN on half 2 only: evolutiva-retired-identifiers.md plus .markers in one change, mars coder lane, dispatched by coder-terra-cc, done when git grep -niF -f on the markers file HITS a deliberately planted /api/app-version string.

Shared active guidance updated on origin/main 17366a1: evolutiva-pm-commons.md:174 and evolutiva-audit-commons.md:90 now use /api/health; exact two-path gitpush pre-hook passed. Post-push grep has no /api/app-version in either active commons file. Unscoped marker grep still legitimately hits .markers:15, retired-identifiers.md:254, and two historical rulings-detail.md lines 146/149; therefore the requested 'only md:254' literal result is unattainable without removing the marker itself and historical references. probe-curl.sh half remains open for bin-venus-cc.

FOURTH instance and the vector is now fully characterised as in-fleet, with zero user exposure in the entire history. pluto paged /api/app-version three times today - 18:52:50.712 (id 6366da2f-4b25-467a-ac53-0b9d1c23be5c), 18:52:56.022 (e2b8305a) and 18:52:56.614 (4ff1a276) - 3.7 hours after I named that path in a broadcast to bin-venus-cc, coder-terra-cc and coder-enamel-cc. Unlike enamel, pluto RECORDS the requester, and that settles it: all three carry ip 91.99.136.171, the venus host IP, and userAgent curl/8.14.1. A bare curl, so NOT probe-curl.sh, which stamps evolutiva-internal-probe/<name>-ptd. The all-time census on pluto is 4 rows: these three plus one on 2026-08-24 03:30:35, same venus IP, same bare curl. So every request this retired path has ever received on pluto came from inside the fleet and none came from a user or an external scanner. Two things that follow. (1) The EVO-105 copy-paste argument is corroborated a second time and in a stronger form than the enamel instance, because here the origin is pinned by IP rather than self-reported - and the likely trigger was my own DM naming the path, which is the third time in this session a probe induced by or belonging to a peer has arrived as my alert. (2) It is also a clean argument for EVO-28, which has sat unassigned in backlog: a filter on the venus host IP plus a curl-shaped UA would have suppressed all four of these rows and the two enamel ones, and nothing of value would have been lost. Nothing here is user-facing and the 404 itself remains correct behaviour.

Pluto instances attributed, and they add a THIRD carrier for a retired identifier that this row did not account for. coder-pluto-cc 2026-10-04 15:55 ART: the three 18:52 curls are theirs, a PLUTO-674 PTD live-version check, and the reason they ran them is the important part - they were probing a STALE MEMORY whose claim was that /api/app-version exists. It does not; only /api/health does. They have corrected that memory, and they raise no objection to the IP plus UA finding from pluto side, while declining to chase EVO-28 further now that it sits with coder-venus-cc - correct on both counts, nothing owed. What this changes for the registry half of this row: a retired path survives in at least three places, and the markers file only reaches one of them. (1) Repo strings, which git grep -niF -f on the markers file catches. (2) Script usage examples, which it also catches once the marker exists - the probe-curl.sh fix. (3) AGENT MEMORY FILES, which no grep over this repo can ever reach, because they live outside it on three hosts and are read at session start as fact. Carrier 3 is why registering the retirement matters beyond the scaffold case the commons describes: the marker list cannot clean a memory, so the retirement has to be visible enough that a lane re-reading its own notes corrects them, which is exactly what coder-pluto-cc just did unprompted. Tally for the session: six 404 rows on this retired path across two apps (3 pluto today, 1 pluto 2026-08-24, 1 enamel today, and the enamel row was coder-enamel-cc own curl), every single one in-fleet, zero user exposure, and three separate lanes independently reaching for a path retired under EVO-91 within one day. That is a knowledge-propagation failure rather than a code defect, and it is the argument for half 2.

coder-venus-cc accepted the pluto leg and REFUSED the fix as I specified it, on three counts that are all correct, and asked one decisive question. ANSWER: YES, every row postdates probe-curl.sh f78251c at 15:14 ART. The three /api/app-version rows are 18:52:50.712 / 18:52:56.022 / 18:52:56.614 UTC = 15:52 and 15:56 ART, and a FOURTH row arrived at 18:57:02.017 UTC = 15:57 ART on a different path, /api/version (id 60069f43-2f1a-484e-ba2a-d4e3922d1992), same ip 91.99.136.171, same bare curl/8.14.1, tierLevel warn, genuine-bad-route. So the population is NOT closed at source, and the reason is that the usage line was never the generator in these cases: coder-pluto-cc stated at 15:55 that their curls came from probing a STALE MEMORY claiming the path exists, and /api/version was never in probe-curl.sh at all, which makes the last row path GUESSING rather than copying. A source-side fix in a script cannot reach either carrier. THEIR THREE CORRECTIONS, accepted in full. (1) curl/* as a log-only discriminator: refused rightly. The UA is self-asserted and attacker-settable, and filtering on it would make every curl-issued 404 from anywhere permanently invisible, which is the class Elazar standing 404 rule calls our bug rather than noise; EVO-28 requires the probe STAMP by design so a real external curl cannot launder itself. My note leaned on curl/* catching all four, which is a property of the population and not a safe rule. (2) Downgrade-to-info is not implementable in that rail at all: applog-listen never writes, level belongs to the producing app, and the attributable keep-without-page disposition already exists as log-only-terminal with reason self-probe at scripts/lib/classify.ts:116-119. My mechanism finding stands as a finding and was wrong as an instruction to that lane. (3) The IP half is the defensible discriminator and is NOT AVAILABLE there - ClassifyRow carries userAgent only (classify.ts:40) and the catch-up SELECT does not select ip, so "the IP half catches all four" was true of MY query against the database and false of their rail. Adding it changes the row shape plus both the catch-up predicate and the NOTIFY payload, and they are right to refuse to call that a one-liner. Also adopted from them: warn forwarding is already a per-app switch (APPLOG_WARN=0, applog-listen.ts:205-208) whose own header names noisy benign 404s at warn as its reason, but on pluto it would silence ALL warn and not just this family, so neither of us is reaching for it. WHERE THIS LEAVES EVO-28: the only discriminator available in that rail is one they correctly refuse to trust, so the pluto leg has no safe implementation today and should not be forced. The remedy that actually reaches both live carriers is EVO-105 half 2 - register the retirement so a lane re-reading its own notes corrects them, which coder-pluto-cc did unprompted within minutes - plus using probe-curl.sh, which stamps the PTD UA, instead of a bare curl, since the stamp is the thing EVO-28 is built to recognise.

SECOND enamel occurrence, 2026-10-05 00:34:30.946576Z, id 2cbc4f45-8eae-493b-a8f3-e5eabd9b176b, route /api/app-version, appKey enamel, level warn. All-time census on the enamel/terra ref for /api/app-version plus /api/version: TWO rows, both enamel, both this path - c46a7e3c at 2026-10-04 15:08:08.475311Z and this one 9h26m later. THE REPO-SIDE CARRIER IS CLOSED, so this hit is evidence about the remaining one. Half 1 landed at 1fabc7b and I verified the registration rather than assuming it: evolutiva-retired-identifiers.md:254 now carries the /api/app-version row naming /api/health as the replacement, and the string is in the markers file, so git grep -niF -f on the markers hits it. A fresh call 9.5 hours after registration is therefore NOT a gap in the registration - it is the carrier the registration cannot reach, which is what this row already says: an agent memory asserting a route that does not exist, invisible to every repo grep. I AM NOW A PLAUSIBLE CARRIER MYSELF and should say so rather than leave it as a general observation: I have quoted /api/app-version verbatim in many notes and DMs today across EVO-28, EVO-105, PLUTO-758, MARS-786 and VENUS-427. Writing a retired path into the record to argue about it reseeds the exact string the next reader may copy, which is the EVO-105 lesson one level up - a usage example is code, and so is a bwi note. WHAT I AM NOT CONCLUDING. enamel records no requester: ip, userAgent and actorUserId are all NULL on both rows, and referrer is null. So I cannot attribute this call and I am explicitly not repeating my 2026-10-04 mistake of writing that the caller is unidentifiable by construction and that no further triage is warranted - that reading was wrong, and the answer last time was that it was coder-enamel-cc own curl, which only the lane could tell me. Asked coder-enamel-cc by DM whether this one is theirs. If it is, the row closes as in-fleet with zero user exposure, same as every other instance of this path in the fleet. If it is NOT theirs, this becomes the first externally-issued hit on the retired path anywhere and the standing 404 rule makes it ours rather than noise - that is a materially different item and I will file it separately rather than stretch this row to cover it.
-
ATTRIBUTED, and the carrier is confirmed from the inside. coder-enamel-cc 2026-10-04 21:38 ART: row 2cbc4f45 at 2026-10-05 00:34:30.946576Z is theirs - curl -fsS https://enamel-evolutiva.pensanta.com/api/app-version, 404, then /api/health at 00:34:36 returning version 0.14.5, deploymentId dpl_HuLrekGAWRQfervH3RXZm1LdnEMZ. Nothing external. CAUSE, stated by the agent that held it: their own PTD memory file named /api/app-version as enamel version endpoint, written from a 2026-08-14 read when the endpoint still existed. They corrected that file to /api/health in the same turn, so that seat will not re-issue it. This is the first time this row carrier hypothesis has been confirmed by the carrier rather than inferred from timing, and it is exactly the class the registration cannot reach: a durable agent note, not code. They scoped their answer honestly to 00:34:30 only and have no record either way on c46a7e3c at 15:08Z, which is before that session context - and c46a7e3c was already attributed to the same lane by their own earlier statement, recorded on this row at the time. So both enamel hits are in-fleet, zero external, zero user exposure, consistent with every other instance of this path anywhere in the fleet. WHAT CLOSES AND WHAT DOES NOT. The repo-side half is done and verified (1fabc7b; evolutiva-retired-identifiers.md:254 names /api/health as the replacement and the markers file hits it). The memory-side carrier has no fleet-wide instrument and is NOT something this row can close - each seat corrects its own notes when it next reads them, which is what both coder-pluto-cc and coder-enamel-cc have now done unprompted. I am a carrier too, having quoted the path verbatim across five rows today. The attributability gap that made this cost two DMs is refiled against enamel on the lane own offer.
