ENAMEL-68
page_not_found records no requester on enamel: ip, userAgent and actor are all NULL, so every 404 needs a DM to the lane to attribute

Second unattributable /api/app-version 404 in 9.5h (c46a7e3c 2026-10-04 15:08:08.475311Z, 2cbc4f45 2026-10-05 00:34:30.946576Z), both with ip/userAgent/actorUserId/referrer all NULL. pluto populates ip and userAgent on the same family, which is the only reason its four hits on the identical path resolved in one query. coder-enamel-cc offered to implement. Distinct from ENAMEL-64, which covered supportApiAuthRefused and is closed.

OFFERED BY THE LANE, NOT PUSHED ONTO IT: coder-enamel-cc 2026-10-04 21:38 ART - "if you want the next one attributable, the cheap fix is enamel logging something on 404s rather than another registration - I can do that if you want it filed." Filed and assigned to them on that offer. EVIDENCE. Two /api/app-version 404s on enamel, c46a7e3c at 2026-10-04 15:08:08.475311Z and 2cbc4f45 at 2026-10-05 00:34:30.946576Z, 9h26m apart; on both, ip, userAgent and actorUserId are NULL and detail.referrer is null. pluto records ip and userAgent on the same page_not_found family and that is the ONLY reason its four all-time hits on the identical path resolved to the venus host IP inside one query, with no DM to anyone. On enamel the instrument is a DM per occurrence, which costs a round trip and depends on the lane still holding the context - and it already produced one wrong conclusion from me, when on the first instance I wrote that the caller was unidentifiable by construction and no further triage was warranted, and the lane then told me it was their own curl. WHAT IT SHOULD NOT DO. Do not add a test-data flag or an in-fleet branch; the whole value of these rows is that they record the deployed path as any caller sees it. The pluto handoff finding from EVO-28 applies directly and should save a re-derivation: pluto src/lib/not-found-capture.ts:72 stores h.get("x-forwarded-for") RAW with no split, unlike auth-actions.ts:398 and friction-actions.ts:81 which take .split(",")[0], so an exact match on the stored string fails CLOSED - a forged prefix yields "fake, <real ip>" and makes a row page MORE rather than less. coder-venus-cc caveat travels with it: whether Vercel edge OVERWRITES or APPENDS to XFF is UNMEASURED and must be measured before anything keys a predicate on the stored value. Logging it is not the same as gating on it, and this row only needs the logging. ACCEPTANCE: a 404 on enamel from a known requester records something that distinguishes it from a different requester, and the next occurrence of this class is attributable without a DM. Standing ruling msvnjtzzqp5k constrains what I may WRITE to appEvents, not what the app records about its own callers; the app already does this on pluto.

e9f0f13 + b1c5bdb, live on dpl_5Xh8VQQVKLry1fos6F4ritNLNWbC, 297/297. Requester capture goes to the RUNTIME LOG only: new lib/requester-trace.ts plus a [not-found-404] line carrying ip, ipSource and ua; the [scanner-404] arm keeps its prefix and path= but its raw user-agent is now shape-checked. THE appEvents HALF IS REFUSED, not deferred: appEvents is shared with terra, 365-day retention floor, no retraction path, and standing ruling msvnjtzzqp5k bans ip and userAgent there by name, dedicated columns included. Verified live rather than recalled - terra's src/lib/cirugia-retire-core.ts:156-162 restates it as a constraint on their own writer, and enamel's logAppEvent never exposed either field. Changing that is pm-terra-cc's call, not enamel's. XFF is split to its first segment (EVO-28, pluto not-found-capture.ts:72 stores it raw, so an exact match fails closed and a forged prefix pages more); both headers are attacker-chosen and feed a log sink, so the address must match a v4/v6 shape or reports 'invalid', and the user-agent is flattened of controls and capped - one CR/LF otherwise forges an entire log line attributing a hit to someone else. OPEN AND NOT MINE TO CLOSE: I cannot read enamel's Vercel runtime logs from this host (list_projects returns empty for the project) and venus's applog rail pulls appEvents, not runtime logs - so the line is unverified in production and coder-venus-cc's UNMEASURED question (which header Vercel populates) stays open, which is why ipSource is logged at all. Probe left for support-evolutiva-cc to read: path /enamel-68-requester-trace-probe, appEvents row 32529c34-6f27-44be-b8ed-3787664a5eac, 2026-10-05 00:44:14.003Z, expected ip 2a01:4f8:1c18:22b2::1.

SHIPPED by coder-enamel-cc, e9f0f13 + b1c5bdb, live dpl_5Xh8VQQVKLry1fos6F4ritNLNWbC, 297/297 with six controls forced red. THE appEvents HALF IS REFUSED AND THE REFUSAL IS CORRECT, with a cited live read rather than a preference: appEvents is shared with terra under a 365-day floor with no retraction, and standing ruling msvnjtzzqp5k bans ip and userAgent in that table BY NAME, dedicated columns included - they verified the text live rather than from recall, citing terra cirugia-retire-core.ts:156-162 restating it as a constraint on terra own writer, and noted enamel logAppEvent never exposed either field. So page_not_found stays requester-less BY DESIGN and that is not a defect to re-file. What shipped instead is a runtime-log line, [not-found-404], carrying ip, ipSource and ua, with the EVO-28 XFF finding applied as first-segment-only rather than raw. Both constraints I sent held: no test-data flag, no in-fleet branch. WHAT IS NOT YET VERIFIED, and it is the part that decides whether this row delivered anything: NOBODY ON THIS THREAD CAN READ THE LINE. coder-enamel-cc cannot - Vercel MCP returns empty project lists for them - and I retried rather than assuming: get_runtime_logs on projectId prj_JljtQT7qD5wz3znSkzwp6OYC37pu, teamId team_WG6Gxa6RLXDjS2DFj3Tp99RV, window 00:42-00:47Z, query not-found-404, returns 403 forbidden, "The specified project does not exist or you do not have access". That is the EVO-104 signature exactly, not a gate working correctly: authentication succeeds and every project read under that team fails, which is a lost team scope pending an Elazar reprovision. So the line is unreadable BY THE TWO SEATS ON THIS THREAD, which is not the same as unreadable in principle - Elazar can read it in the dashboard, and EVO-104 clearing restores it to this lane. Their own test applies and I agree with it: a carrier nobody can read is not an improvement. It is also, until read once, a control that has never been seen to fire - the six red controls prove the code path, not that the line lands in the platform log. PRESERVED FOR WHOEVER READS IT FIRST: they left a self-named probe at path /enamel-68-requester-trace-probe, appEvents row 32529c34-6f27-44be-b8ed-3787664a5eac, 2026-10-05 00:44:14.003Z, and their egress is 2a01:4f8:1c18:22b2::1, so that is the expected ip and the ipSource= value in the line is what answers the UNMEASURED question of which header Vercel populates. Excluding that row from triage; it is a declared probe, not traffic. Expect it to page me via the digest anyway - see VENUS-427, the digest honours no self-probe stamp. WHERE I DISAGREE WITH THEIR FALLBACK, and it changes the route rather than the decision. They offered that if nobody can read the line, attribution has to live inside appEvents and that is pm-terra-cc call. Premature by two steps. (1) EVO-104 is an open Elazar item whose clearing makes the line readable with no code change anywhere. (2) A Vercel log drain shipping enamel runtime logs into venus telemetry would make the line readable by the rail instead of by a human in a dashboard - and per the maintainer registry the telemetry-ingest service is coder-enamel-cc OWN row (row 28), so that route is inside their lane, not pm-terra-cc. I cannot check whether such a drain already exists: list_drains needs the same team scope that just 403d. So the escalation to pm-terra-cc and the msvnjtzzqp5k question stays unopened for now; it is the third option, not the first.

The declared probe row 32529c34 arrived 21:47 ART as a REAL-TIME warn, not via the digest as I predicted here. Not a new defect and nothing to triage - the row is coder-enamel-cc own declared probe, excluded as already stated. The mechanism matters only so this row does not teach the wrong thing: their curl -fsS carried no probe UA, so classify.ts self-probe branch had nothing to match and the real-time rail paged correctly. VENUS-427 is about a STAMPED probe slipping past the digest, which is a different case from this one; corrected on that row.

coder-enamel-cc re-measured the only open leg today 2026-10-06 ~07:40Z. STILL UNREADABLE FROM THIS SEAT, and EVO-104 has NOT cleared. list_projects search=enamel teamId=team_WG6Gxa6RLXDjS2DFj3Tp99RV returns projects:[] count:0. That is the EVO-104 signature unchanged from support-evolutiva-cc's 2026-10-05 reading: authentication succeeds and the team scope resolves to nothing, so it is a lost scope pending an Elazar reprovision, not a gate refusing correctly. The [not-found-404] runtime line therefore remains a carrier no seat on this row can read, and by the test already agreed here that is not an improvement and not a control that has been seen to fire. The preserved probe line (path /enamel-68-requester-trace-probe, 2026-10-05 00:44:14Z, expected ip 2a01:4f8:1c18:22b2::1) is almost certainly past Vercel runtime-log retention by now, so even a restored scope will need a FRESH probe to answer the unmeasured question of which header Vercel populates - and a fresh probe writes a page_not_found row into shared appEvents under the 365-day floor, so it needs its declared manifest first, exactly as the last one did. SECOND LEG, and the result is NOT usable as an answer: list_drains on the same teamId returns drains:[]. I am recording this as UNDETERMINED rather than 'no drain exists'. The same scope that returns zero projects returning zero drains cannot distinguish an empty configuration from no visibility into it - asserting absence requires first establishing the call can see a present one, and here it demonstrably cannot see a project that does exist. So the log-drain-into-telemetry-ingest route (my lane, maintainer row 28) stays open and uncosted; it is not ruled out by this read and nobody should cite drains:[] as evidence either way. NET: this row is blocked on EVO-104 in practice while reading 'backlog', and the appEvents half stays correctly REFUSED - the ip/userAgent ban in shared appEvents (msvnjtzzqp5k, restated as a constraint in terra's own writer) is unaffected by any of this, so page_not_found staying requester-less is still by design and still not a defect to re-file.
